So are you going to get your arse in gear, or should I get someone up in the bullpen who wants to win tonight?

Why do I have a feeling these conferences are more appropriate for Showtime After Dark?

i think this extremely odd first period can be spotted at the disallowed goal. I think once that went in, the flyerss were saying "here we go again....." and after it was disallowed, maybe they thought it was their night etc.? I am not conceding anything other than the first period sucked. bad.

He'd only show up if we were WINNING. You're going to make me get Vogelsong going here.

This team still isn't physical at all in front of their net, that will kill them down the stretch and in the playoffs.

Even thought most will disagree, Ruutu continues to bring nothing to this team.

Word was Eager was going to challenge Army to a fight early for the hit on Carter. Not surpised Army didn't go cause he knows Eager is a lot better fighter.

Team needs to drive the net more.

My thoughts... refs dont want this one to get away... disallowed goal was ?able... Flyers are playing well... skating fast... lets see if the pens can right the ship...

on a side note... for all you Malone haters... Crosby was within inches of crashing into NItamonkey... why would he expect a pass... instead Crosby should have shot the puck... and before you all come back with because it is Crosby... I realize that... but Crosby has been to pretty lately and needs to get back simple plays with the awesome pass every once in awhile... teams will start to key on that!

Waffles, I can attribute this to playing wide open and thinking you can just blow your "lesser opponent" right off the ice. It's a road game against a team that really hates the fact that you have dominated them all season.

Play the same game you have for the last two weeks, your not going to lose. Play for personal stats and half hearted, they will have a chance to get the points you counted on.

I expect someone to step up in between periods and inform this team to respect their opponent, play like they know how.

Really unsatisfying first period, especially the disallowed goal. What a rotten call.

Slightly off topic, but I hate these "female Pens fans" puff pieces that they run between the periods. Some of these women they interview know about as much about hockey as I know about astrophysics. They make us all look like a bunch of puckbunny tards.

1st period

2 bad goals on 2 stupid pentalties.

lay off the refs, they've made the right calls. whitney had no business running into nittymaki and the fishy calls have been going both ways, all of them could be justified.

The last time we were physical in front of out net, Ulf Samuellsson wore #5.

If you care at all about the growth of the game, you'd appreciate the importance of these marketing stats. More females attending games than NFL MLB

Good clear by Whitney, bad move by Colby that puck should have been floated towards the corner. His support was blanketed. Guys are looking to get points for their stats, not thinking....
