Holy crap, I think my heart just exploded in my chest.
That was the worst win I've ever seen. But hey, it's a W in the standings, and that's good enough for me.

Something special when you can get 2 points playing like that.
Although why didnt crosby get a point on Recchi's goal? I think he set up him for the original shot and Recchi put in his own rebound.

We can't say we swept the Flyers anymore though.

my heart too. I just can't handle SO. UGLY UGLY game but glad to get the 2 even if the pens did give up 1 to the flyers.

In regulation, maybe. But it looks to me like we got our 7th straight win there, shootout be damned.

An ugly win for sure, but I'll take it over any kind of loss.
Obviously the Pens played way below their standard, but they still manages to get 2 points. Finding ways to win games you that you really shouldn't win is a a sign of a good team. Despite giving up 4 goals, you could argue that Fleury stole a win tonight. He certainly stole 1 point with his play in OT and the shootout.

Why not? A sweep is when you win all the games against someone and we've won 7 of 7 against Philly this far.

He just ensured he'll net the flyers a 1st and a top prospect with that game.

Even when the Pens play a terrible game, the Flyers still can't beat them.

They're not ties anymore. They're still losses.

Tonight's Three Stars, picked by Keith Jones as per
NHL.com:
1. Gagne
2. Forsberg
3. Whitney

Yes, and Malkin too.
Fleury picked up the slack though. He had an assist.
