we almost had mac limited to no repeat protections. He asked by PM for clarification, and as my intent had been to prevent twice-in-a-row, and not twice overall, he got twice in a row. Shocked he didn't use it the night he died, when he could have self-protected that night. BCS & I had discussed going the other direction on mac's inquiry, but since he had already self protected on night 1, that would have changed strategy completely if the Angel had to save the self protect for much later. It was an interesting concept, one I might have used had mac asked during night 1.

I was kinda surprised that no one ever went after me. I had a pretty good voting record, but was as absent as anyone at times during the game (mostly due to work).

That made it tough for me at the end since I was mostly reading on my phone and no one else was really posting but doc and doublem.

Game was cool as expected though. :thumb:

looking back on it...malka had everyone switch their votes to doublem the night he had his "melt down." but i told him to say something dumb at the end to take advantage of his save, since if doublem were to die (and presumably be good) we knew malks would be gone the next day. if we would've let the votes stay on doublem...game over lol.

I was going to go after you but you kept voting with me and I needed someone that would vote with me at the end.

independent role with a single kill shot almost always has to wait until the end to use the kill for a chance at victory. Elsewise the best you can hope is a draw, much like this game. This is why the game drew out after ulf was tarred & feathered. It is a challenging role, and you did well to last that long.

I thought for sure the bad guys would keep me around the night I died. I looked real bad. Kraftster was leading the charge and figured that he would be next. I took a risk to a.) protect him and b.) check to see if he was bad or not. If he was targeted, I knew he was good. It backfired as I was killed that night, presumably after telling malka to "lay off" me

Also like PS said I didn't have color in my PM which was a tad confusing but I just thought nothing of it.

Aside from my stupid night talking that screwed over bhaw, I'm happy I made that read on pfidc when I did. He was playing bizarrely....just posting random theories that made no sense and drawing attention to himself.

I want to add that a big potential turning point was Night 4.

Zaro (vig) put in a PM to kill PFIDC. This was blocked because Kraftster used his last recruit that night (recruited thg, who was pre-assigned as the second recruit). Meanwhile, PFIDC investigated Malka, which allowed PFIDC, bhaw, and Malka to communicate. As a result, all of the baddies also knew about ulf. If Kraftster had not recruited, PFIDC would have died, the investigation of Malka would not have gone through, and any hope of the baddies communicating would have been lost.

I commented to rel that the good guys got hit with a triple-whammy: no PFIDC kill, the baddies could now all communicate, and Kraftster had to deal with thg.

Kraftster using the recruit was a no-brainer, however, since he would have lost it if he didn't use it.

Zaro, you suck. Night 2?! :P

Great game. I had a lot of fun following along after I died. Good job Rel, (RIP BCS), and redwill.

Haha, I did not like the vig shooting in a game where we had no idea of the roles, so, I felt I was doing us a service by recruiting. Guess not on Night 4, hah.

If Malka doesn't come out and say he is red and just let doublem die, the reds probably win the game IMO.

Well, TBH, I shouldn't have said anything, we also would have won had not BHAW been told that he was red at the beginning as well. That change a lot, because most people saw it, and I had to act like I didn't see it.

glad i popped back into this game. enjoyable to say the least. great mod job. I thought about modding one here, but i feel like my late morning wakeups would conflict with everyone lol. Id need an AM co-mod. So ill just leave it to the others. Gotta appreciate the time and effort they put in.

I'm the same way some days, but I'm still gonna try and mod a game (if I find a good co-mod, of course).

I don't have a dog in the fight and I realize that bcs apparently had some real baggage....but he was a really good mod.
