I can't believe some STUPID IDIOT had a PELLET GUN with a SCOPE, got to the roof and was SHOOTING PIGEONS.

He's got a nice clear view of the State Goverment Building from there... The Gov's not in town by any chance is he? :-)

Well, I know most everyone hated the pigeon penguin logo... maybe he was waiting for Howard Baldwin to come back into town.

I am a chipmunk sleigher, not pigeon.

1020 said he was hired to do the job by the building owners.

I am not annoyed by the guy, I am annoyed by the azzclowns that see someone walking down Penn with a pellet gun, NOT POINTING IT AT PEOPLE, but called the cops like the guy was mowing down pedestrians left and right. 1020 commented on wondering what the cops will do to the caller for filing false reports.

You gotta love the mayor:

"Allegheny County Chief Executive Dan Onorato, Mayor Bob O'Connor and county Sheriff Pete DeFazio were also on the scene.

O'Connor, whose wife Judy works in the area, cut short a tour of Lawrenceville, donned a bulletproof vest and had his police escort drive him Downtown with red and blue lights flashing on the mayor's black Lincoln.

"I've got to make sure my wife's OK," said O'Connor. Judy O'Connor works as a receptionist for Highmark in office's at the old Horne's building. "

Isn't that basically admitting that he is using public workers (cops, his car, etc) for personal business? Isn't that what Wecht is in trouble for?

It's funny, only in retrospect, but talk about an over-reaction! Imagine how the guy with a pellet gun, hired to do a job feels! Priceless!

"What, me?? I'm just up here shooting pigeons! He told me to do it!"

Yep, although on a much smaller scale.

He also could make the argument that as mayor, he should have dome exactly what he did. But it's his reasoning, and admission of such, that slays me.

I don't think the cops will be charging anyone for a false report.

If you saw a guy with a gun with a scope on top of a building, what would you think? It's not like you can see whether or not its a pellet gun if the guy is on the roof.

Inciting public panic. 1020 said something about people didn't see the guy on the building, he was seen walking down Penn. Apparently going HOME after doing the JOB that he was HIRED to do.

Where is that "Half" button...
