Greetings, Enterprise Crew and Offiers. This order is a direct assignment, immediate departure from Earth spacedock. The operational Starfleet Intelligence Array (OSIA) stationed outside of the Solar System has picked up intermittent transmissions from the Klingon Empire. Our newly constructed outpost, Deep Space 4 (currently classified), has been targeted due to it's modern technology, and sensor component capabilities. DS-4 is still under heavy modification to make it space-ready. We ask that you do not repeat word of DS-4 to friends or family.

We are dispatching the Enterprise to DS-4, to investigate the situation. Rumors from Starfleet Intelligence state that Chancellor Gorkon of the Klingon High Council, will be arriving with some of his senior Officer's to assess and sabotage the station. The Enterprise is to remain docked with DS-4, until Gorkon and his team are found and eliminated.

Please keep in mind, that DS-4 contains experimental technology that is subject to tampering and sabotage. Luckily, your Chief Engineer has been briefed on all documentation regarding said technology, and should be able to make repairs, though the length of time these repairs may take is unkown. Vital station components include

Communications
Sensors

It is recommended that extra security is posted in areas aboard your ship. Vital ship components include

Shields
Engines
Weapons

If any of these systems were to fail, it's possible that the Klingons would gain an upper-hand against you that may be irreversible. Extreme caution is advised.

Also be aware, a Klingon attack fleet may be lurking in the sector. Their new cloaking technology renders them invisible to ship and station sensors. As a back-up, we are stationing a new fleet of Constitution class cruisers in the vicinity that will be ready to repel the attack. We hope that the situation can be resolved before a war starts.

That is why we need you, the Starfleet Officer. Your attention to detail, awareness, and no doubt Starfleet training will be much needed if we are to solve the riddle and find what the Klingons are really up to. Godspeed.

Unless you get the role of Montgomery Scott. Then you have to solve a complex math equation that the MODs give you to fix a sabotaged component. :pop:
