Is it just me or do the pens just seem to be coasting. I don't know there just is no flow, no movement, no connecting, no nothing just slow and slower. Yeah every once in awhile someone seems to move but is seems like they are just tired. I hope tomorrow doesn't go this slow.

i think its a combination of being tired and also that the caps play a very defensive minded game...
GOAL!!!! MALKIN BLAAAASTS IT! Is his number 66? What a bad angle shot

I love that Crosby always draws the double or sometimes the triple cover. Can you imagine how much of a shutdown player he'll be in the playoffs, when triple covering stars is more common? The other team won't even have a chance at offence, because every player will be on Crosby.

Wow, just like old times. Pens play like crap, Washington hits and works hard, and the Pens lead because they're better. Makes me misty.

that's a big goal at the end of the period. capitals had some momentum and are clearly the team more "into" the game. hopefully that'll wake up the pens for the 3rd

I can not beeeeeeeeelieve that shot, so amazing.
That shot reminded me of the shot from Kovalev for his last Hatrick he had with the Pens.
But Geno is simply a monster.
He needs to play in a different position on the PP. however, maybe where Whitney is right now.

With a few notable exceptions (Crosby, Malkin, Talbot) it looks like the Pens forgot to care about this game. Nice to be up 2-1, but I can't really say that we deserve it.
Sorry if I missed this, but is Nas still out because of baby Nas, or is he scratched for another reason?

Not sure what game people are watching.
The Pens are playing a tough game here. I see plenty of effort & plenty of checking.
Another strong period by Ti-bo. But it'll be all his fault if the Caps tie or win this in the 3rd right people?
Malkin once again is doing a great Mario impersonation.
