Keep your fingers crossed for me...

Hey guys; I'm hoping you can muster some positive thoughts to send to Vegas this weekend. The Wranglers could sure use everything you got.
Tonight & tomorrow night are critical for us; I'm relying on y'all. :)
The majority of the playoff spots have been locked up with only three berths still up for grabs heading into the weekend. The Titans should clinch the fifth and final spot this weekend, needing only a single point, or a single Dayton Bombers loss. ... There are two great races for divisional titles still very much up in the air with the biggest battle being between the Alaska Aces and Las Vegas Wranglers for not only first in the West Division, but first overall in the ECHL. The Aces lead the Wranglers by only two points heading into the weekend. How important is home ice for the Aces and Wranglers? The Wranglers are 0-for-3 at Sullivan Arena in Anchorage this season, while the Aces have won once at Las Vegas in four trips.

Penny, thanks! No need. Both games are in Vegas & guess where I'll be?
We really need to tie these games up. :wink:

I wish someone could tie the Alaska fans up too. They come into the arena with these big loud reindeer bells & sit right behind me shaking them. :(

One down, one to go! The Wranglers won it 5-2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tied for first place, baby! :D

Thanks Dag, we moved into first place last night with a 3-1 win over the Utah Grizzlies. The Alaska Aces lost their game which broke the lead tie.

It feels so good to be on top! :)

Aren't the Alaska Aces the team that Scott Gomez played with during the lockout? I had so much respect for him. Playing for his hometown minor league team. Taking a huge pay cut (over a million dollars), roughing it on the bus on the road. You just don't see loyalty, or even love of the game, win out over money any more!

I'm gonna have to get out to Vegas sometime soon!
