Even if we cut the field in half, that doesn't clear the other half of people IMO. There has to be more than one baddie and I doubt they all have the same items.

I posted the same thing, I believe Columbia's question regarding even room numbers gives us basically the same odds.

I think this is good. Gets half of the people and then we can narrow it down from there if more clues are given on other nights.

I would assume that there is more than one baddie, so obviously this doesn't clear the even rooms for being bad.

Do you guys think that the clues are all for one baddie? Or do you think that maybe one baddie has the bowtie and one has the knife, etc?

Just fyi, mods are giving some leeway on the questions today. In future day phases, once you ask a question in purple, you are locked into that question and cannot change to a different question that day (your proposed question, not your vote for a question).

Are we sure there is 1 killer?

I can't imagine this game working with only 1 killer. That's why we're using the bowtie in the question. Which means, any variation of the question here doesn't necessarily clear anyone from being a red. It just means they weren't wearing a bowtie.

While there a possibly multiple "baddies" I can't imagine that more than one killed Bhaw. So they probably only kill one at a time. Let's get the killer who wore the bowtie ( assuming our now tie assumption is valid) first. Then we can track down the others.

Not necessarily. If we ask about even rooms and the bowtie wasn't amongst the even rooms we eliminate 10 people. If we ask about odd rooms we eliminate 9 people. If we choose to kill an odd numbered guest tonight we can have it down to a possible 8 guests.

I just don't see how it took two to kill Bhaw, for now anyway, I'm going with the theory that the same person owned the bow tie and the knife. But that's just me.

If we ask about the even rooms and get a no we eliminate 10 people leaving 9, but if we get a yes then we eliminate 9 people leaving 10. We get basically the same answer either way.
