Why would a blue player get a PM like that from the mods?

And shaf said it happened during night 1, when someone was killed in the library. No one else has come out and said anything about their key being taken from them, just seems really odd to me.

My vote for you was based on the even room theory which redwill's theory pretty much disproved. You may still be bad and a baddie is probably in an even room, just the day 1 Q and A isn't as strong as thought.

As for shaf -- and this may come back to haunt me -- I actually really liked his response to the relantel vote:

This relantel vote has all the appearances of a hasty bandwagon against someone. I went ahead and looked at the 4th-6th people that were just piling onto the vote, and went with TL.

I agree about the folks who piled on to relantel this (RL) morning. That vote went too smoothly.

However, shaf has been very quiet this game. I know I can't say much about that since I, too, have been absent, but, until his observation about the relantel vote, he gave nothing this game. Very unlike him.

I know he said in the sign-up thread that he had to be in Utah on Sunday. I don't know if that means he'll respond anymore.

We have 3 people with wrenches dead and we know one is a baddie, so I am thinking there is a max of 4 wrenches in the game. I think we need to focus our question around the wrench.

the WRENCH is the ONLY clue we KNOW belongs to a baddie. Now we do a binary search. That's what ps87 has begun. There are other ways to do it (like asking about guests in rooms 1-10), but that amounts to the same thing. It's the only sure way to approach it.

We also know that one of the killers has a key to the library, a knife, and a bow tie. I assume that only one person can be connected to this unique combination. And my question only involved one clue (the library key).

But as I said, asking about the wrench makes sense, too.

PS87, what are you talking about? I got that information as the game was starting. No role was given to me. My only piece of information was that someone went through my crap and my Key to the Library was left on my dresser. That's it. Nothing more, nothing less.

Come on. Look people!! The relantel vote took off like the holiday season's hottest toy flying off the shelves. Did you see how fast that bandwagon went? There HAD to be guilty people in the middle of that. That goes without saying.

Regarding ps87, this was his post after columbia made the first vote on the previous day, for teib:

He's been the most suspicious so far.

Take it for what it's worth, but this looks like trying to get the bandwagon going to me. I have no idea what my role is. I got that PM prior to the first night. I waited a while to divulge it. I waited until the library was mentioned in the writeup as one of the possible destinations the killer went. Why would I even release that info? What benefit could it possibly serve?
