NCAA Basketball Polls that are completely busted

Post by conforto45 »

so how many people in here are absolutly completely busted out of their NCAA Basketball polls?

i know i sure am.

and if there is 1 single person who actually had George Mason making it this far....hell, even making it past the 1st round. well then, i damned you to hell!!!

haha.

who woulda thunk it that there would be NO number 1 seeds in the Final Four?

I think it would be a "hoot" to know what the odds in Vegas before the 1st tip-off were of Geo Mason winning the whole thing. Had to be at least 10,000 to 1, and I *still* wouldn't have taken that bet.

I read an article about this last night... apparently the odds for GM were 300-1 in one place and 400-1 in another. Apparently one person placed a $20 wager at the 400-1 odds... meaning they will get $8k if GM wins it all.

It's really sad... I had 6 of the 8 teams correct going into the Elite 8... now I have 1 team left (UCLA). How ridiculous is that?

Given that there were 65 teams and probably 60 of them had more "juice" than GM, I'm surprised the odds weren't longer.

If I was a GM student struggling to make tuition, I *kill* myself for not placing a small bet :-)

I bet some dude named "George Mason" who doesnt know squat about basketball put down a 100 bucks just for kicks and because they had his name.... at 400 to 1 odds he just made an investment worth 40 grand.
