I feel likes politician..." But you once said you believed in witchcraft" when you were 13 years old.columbia wrote:Gaucho, you should post up some Italo disco in the random thread.
It was a joke Gaucho. I posted it as a "rip" on the thread. I love that thread but I felt it needed a little bit of humor.
But I can't believe you remember that!:)

Whoa. Just saw this. I hope you're not talking their entire career. The Uli Jon Roth years produced some of the finest hard rock ever recorded, IMO. I'm a rabid fan. Rabid. As in ... rabid.Gaucho wrote:I'd further suggest ... Scorpions ...

Accept vs Scorpions.
Was that Germany's Godzilla vs Gamera contribution to the Axis?

Yeah...he is a good drummer.
I get really freaked out by people who don't analyze the "backing" (ahem) components of a rock band, but that's a personal bias.

Drumming is "good", but I prefer to focus on the musicians.columbia wrote:Yeah...he is a good drummer.

Re: The Battle of Gettysburg **Dead Thread**
When I was in Germany, the variety played on the radio was more random than JTOR.
I hear The Corrs - Summer Wine played twice out there. I had never heard this song before and had to look it up. It is quite terrible even with Bono singing in it. Song starts off with "Strawberries, cherries, and an angel's kiss in spring; My summer wine is really made from all these things..." It only got worse from there.
The music played seemed to be mostly bad 80s pop music too.

German radio is pretty bad. I used to only listen to BFBS (John Peel ftw) when I was younger and actually bothered with radio.

Re: The Battle of Gettysburg **Dead Thread**
yeah, that drives me nuts. I understand sometimes that life prevents posting, but if you really can't post at all, PM the mod and ask to bow out instead of skewing every vote.
I'm especially frustrated by this due to c2i's game where there were 5 reds and 6 blues left and 4 of the blues simply stopped playing... so to say the last couple day phases were futile is an understatement.

Yep really does stink. Oh well.
Wars have become so diluted that anyone who isn't an RP just basically gives up right away.

Fitting. Non-participation rules the day.
