My wife is in hospital

Post by Bowser »

if anyone has been wondering where I've been, I"ve been bedside with my wife since Friday at noon. I just came home for stuff and I have my own dr's appointment in an hour.

baby is doing ok... he hasn't come out but the dr's are having a rough time figuring out what is causing her pain... which is what is starting the contractions and higher pain.

they gave her two shots to help with the baby's lung development in case they have to do a c-section or induce labor. We're at 33 weeks and 2 days, so they're hoping to holdout for another week or two before they have to think about this.

I hope to report better news in a few days or so.

take care everyone

Eric, my thoughts and prayers are with you and Kristin. I hope that all goes well and that this is just a temporary thing that clears up quickly.

Eric,

I hope you and Kristin and the baby all make it through this fine and stronger than ever. Try to keep the positive emotions flowing.

It's got to be so hard on you; all you can do is sit beside her and be supportive and love her and your baby.

I'll send a prayer out into the Universe for you. Be strong.

Good luck to you and your family Bowser. Hope all works out well.

I understand your troubles as my wife has always had problems carrying children. We lucked out with 3 and at 3 it will stay! Just stay with her and do whatever she asks of you.

Just keep thinking positive bro. My best man and his wife had a rocky start with their first as well and he just turned 3 a few weeks ago and is as healthy as can be. Just hang in there and you guys will make it through fine. :)

What kind of pain is she getting? My fiance had severe pain at around 33 weeks also and was bed ridden for a couple days. It turned out to be a uteran fibroid that was causing her trouble. She got a prescription from her doctor for the pain and it took about a week to completely heal. The fibroid is still there but its not painful anymore. She turns 40 weeks friday.

Hopefully they can find out soon what the pain is from. 33 weeks is early, but the chances are great for the baby to healthy.

Best of luck with everything. You're wife and baby are in our thoughts and prayers!

Sorry to hear your news, I'm sure everything will work out ok though. Me and my wife are about 2 months behind you right now and I know what a worrying time it all is.

Good luck to you and your family.
