With one vote omitted, Redwill takes the badge off the desk and pins it on proudly. As a civil man with generations of time spent in Jaggerbush Run, he felt it right that he should be in charge. After a closed ballot, Redwill is your new Sherriff. With such a crazy day, you decide its best to look at the paperwork left behind and sort through everything in the morning. Redwill receives a key and will sleep a little less tonight knowing that there is a bit more of a responsibility. As the rest of the people go home for dinner and resume life, no one realizes much change other than Sherriff Senka skipping town. The children are put to sleep and the dogs are out barking. The creepy old guy down the road is watching Jeopardy on his black and white television on volume 200. Its a quiet clear night full of mountain air and the perfect time for some much needed sleep.

Day one was built with some slowness for two reasons -- Columbia said would not be around, and there were things that needed to be done to set up the game. You set up your own game. After I realized Columbias vote is probably the omitted one, It was fine. Sorry for the hold up, but I had "HighSchool fitness day" and the kids ran a mile. Awesome? not really. but I was outside without notice.

Good Morning... Let’s recap. Yesterday the town woke up for work. It wasn’t until about 10am when everyone realized that Sherriff Senka was no longer with us. Some residents thought he left. Others thought he was kidnapped, and some even insisted the worst was possible – he was gone forever. The biggest goal was to find a new Sherriff. It didn’t matter how long it took. After hours of debate and a private vote, aside from one loud voter who insisted he voted for redwill, redwill was indeed given the badge. They gave him a badge, key, and a gun holster. Tax dollars couldn’t afford a gun. But then again there hasn’t been any crime in Jaggerbush Run in the last 13 years. Exactly 13 years ago tomorrow, Jordan Michael robbed the sporting goods store, stealing shoes and various equipment. Even that was not worth of having a gun.

Last night, everyone went to bed early. Someone set their alarm to wake up early, but the slap chop infomercial was on volume 200 and the old man was out cold. No one even heard it coming. It wasn’t until about 8:40AM today when the body was reported. There looked to be medium struggle, and the body was looked to be in a mangled state. The facial recognition was hard to make out, but they were working on the teeth. For the record, Jaggerbush Run’s dentist is awesome, so he could turn over the records in an hour or five. He does Matt Cooke’s teeth. The wallet was gone except for an expired Trojan and a Yankee Candle Rewards card lying next to the body. The sad thing is someone watched it all happen, or at least they could have. Something is wrong.

Sherriff Redwill strolled into the office eager to get the town back on track from the shambles it was left in the days prior. Redwill unlocked the door to find a ringing phone. Terrible news. It was indeed confirmed as being a dead body. Redwill had to figure out a way to release the information without losing the support of the townspeople. “No crime or death in 13 years and on my first day, this happens?!”
