Yeah, for Sheriff. And now he's dead. Redwill, the actual Sheriff, is not.thehockeyguru wrote:yellow IE

How does that mean anything?

I think if he killed bhaw, I could see him coming out and immediately trying to steer the votes to another player he'd feel threatened by.

Only when your reasoning makes no sense.thehockeyguru wrote:defensive much? Its Day 1. Of course I'm grasping at straws.
Plus, this is a smaller game than the last few, and bandwagons tend to take off pretty fast.
So yeah, I don't really want to die on day 1.

Re: Monsters I: GAME THREAD
I think you turned down the Sheriff role because you are an RP. Had you accepted you essentially would have had a target on your back.
How does that make no sense?

Re: Monsters I: GAME THREAD
I was referring to my nominating bhaw and then bhaw ending up dead. I can't figure out how that makes me bad. I wanted a good player leading the village. And yeah, redwill is a good player, but so is bhaw. That means that I want bhaw to be around, not dead on Day 1.thehockeyguru wrote:I think you turned down the Sheriff role because you are an RP. As for turning down the Sheriff nomination, I did that because I'm a crappy player (like I said when I turned it down).

Re: Monsters I: GAME THREAD
It just doesn't add up to me. You claim to be a bad player and want to help the village by nominating someone who is a good player. But at the same time you want to stay alive past day 1. If your a crappy player like you say then you are going the village no good by staying alive.
To me a Day 1 vote on you clears up the only suspicious activity from the nomination and Night 1.
That's all I have to say regarding my vote. Where is everyone else?

Uh, I like playing these games? Why would I not want to survive passed day 1?

While the rest of her reasoning makes little sense, i'd think and RP would want the sheriff role. I know I'm a little more hesitant to vote of redwill compared to everyone else.thehockeyguru wrote:I think you turned down the Sheriff role because you are an RP. Re: Monsters I: GAME THREAD
I'll bet the whole nominating and accepting/denying the nomination wasn't a coincidence. It was most likely done that way so that RP's could deny a nomination.ulf wrote:While the rest of her reasoning makes little sense, i'd think and RP would want the sheriff role. It would make no sense for Senka to have allowed an RP to be Sheriff. I'm willing to bet the instructions that were sent out specifically told RP's to turn down any nomination as Sheriff.
That's what makes IE suspicious in my eyes.
Of course it's so early on the game, who really knows?

So Canaan, I'm blue.
Now why would I say that? Because I am.
I was in this exact same situation in the Gettysburg game and I never came out and said I was blue, you know why? Because I was red.
Go ahead, vote for me. You'll find out I'm blue. I'm flying to Vegas on Tuesday so I probably won't make it to the end of the game anyway.
For the record, what Canaans doing here... Leads me to believe he's red too.

That is what this game is *all* about right?canaan wrote:ExPatriatePen wrote:For the record, what Canaans doing here... Leads me to believe he's red too.what exactly am i doing here? calling you out on a lot of speculation and finger pointing without any real reasoning?
Speculation and finger pointing?
Eliminate that and we don't have much of a game do we now?
We could all just sit here silently but that wouldn't really get us very far would it?
By the way, I've explained my reason for supporting the vote against IE. What's your reason for voting against me?

Re: Monsters I: GAME THREAD
it seems like a pretty simple "lets frame IE by killing someone she voted for" tactic. i dont know if IE is bad or not, but the reasoning seems to be pretty L1. If IE ends up bad, yokes on my face, but to simply assume IE, being a red player, would be so out to get bhaw that she would make it known that she wanted to kill him and then follow through with it? whats the rationale behind that?
