Sorry, forgot this was going on.
So reading through, redwill was killed, EPP was killed, redwill came back, and then nothing?

Pen48guins: you obviously are familiar with Warz. Is it from reading the threads or have you played before elsewhere? Just curious.

Re: Mad Scientist Warz Game Thread
i can always get behind a vote for a silent player.
that being said i still think we need to decide whether or not we're gonna trust redwill.
PRO's of trusting him:
-he's been brought back for us because the red's killed him (we've seen that before, and at best he's a JOAT?)
-obhave wrote this story in such a way that the first person offed by the red's would be brought back as the star character to lead the charge against them. (again, admittedly i dont know this story that well so maybe that fits?)
CON's of trusting him:
-he'll serve as a constant distraction, which we'll bring up every time we hit a dead end
-he's independent
-he's red and plays us the whole game

I'm not ready to jump on redwill yet. I personally think he is now some sort of independent (aka Frankentiens monster).

redwill's actions do seem robotic, as if his responses are pre-programmed by the reds to throw us off.

Re: Mad Scientist Warz Game Thread
i never trust anyone who was removed from the game and then reintroduced--the player always becomes a lightning rod for attention and helps the baddies slip by with minimum-to-no real interaction necessary. on the reverse, baddies like to use this for gain as they will try and push the vote towards that player because they know its an easy "get behind that vote" that can be dismissed pretty easily when looking at voting/accusing patterns and they also like to vote him off because they are unsure of his powers and not sure if they can actually kill that player.
personally, i think benny's second point of PRO towards redwill may hold some validity, but at the same time, dont trust benny. im gonna wait to vote so i can hear some more opinions on the matter.

Robotic, eh - interesting. His original quote of 'I am the wind' reminded me of Tom Servo of MST3K.DocEmrick wrote:redwill's actions do seem robotic, as if his responses are pre-programmed by the reds to throw us off.
Redwill, I'll ask again - any reason for the Shad vote?

Wow. Never thought my weird responses would be called robotic, much less programmed by someone else.DocEmrick wrote:redwill's actions do seem robotic, as if his responses are pre-programmed by the reds to throw us off.

Re: Mad Scientist Warz Game Thread
I agree that redwill could be anything, green, red, independent, whatever. Don't forget that in the introduction the mad scientist talked about his "army of creations". In any case, lightning rod for attention is definitely true.

Re: Mad Scientist Warz Game Thread
look, while your wit and charm are endearing, you're proving to be of no use to the village right now. Offer something up as to why you might have been brought back, so we can convict or move on. or postulate a counter theory on someone else. something that says im one of the good guys.redwill wrote:Wow. MOD NOTE: Deadline has been extended until 2pm.
I will be in meetings so I will be back as much as I can (which is minimal) to keep tabs on the vote count.

I agree with Canaan's sentiments on redwill, but not 100% comfortable with voting him out right now. I'm ok with a THG vote.

Re: Mad Scientist Warz Game Thread
While the rhetoric "robotic" may have been jumping the gun, it seems that redwill's responses are pre-canned or being controlled in some fashion. In essence, we know that he was revived by the mad scientist, unless a green has that same ability.

Re: Mad Scientist Warz Game Thread
Think it's more likely red came up with the quotes idea on his own. I agree with the theory he is independent, maybe with a chance to be turned red or green later on. One of his quotes seemed to suggest he's independent. On phone, so can't look it up now.
