The quiet vote is lame IMHO, but I can't discount quiet as a strategy. Just more often than not voting quiet for quiet sake votes a blue, and that is one less guess the reds have to make.
That's exactly how I feel about it imo. If the reds know that a person is quiet, it's much easier to attack the quiet blue knowing that he won't defend himself, or it's less likely to happen.
is this exactly how you feel or is this?

That's completely assuming that the "seer" has the ability to live long enough and tell who he's seen and who's good or bad.
Basically what you're asking is to either kill the quiet ones either way and hope the seer lives long enough to spill the details, making it even "cloudier" for the village if the seer dies, and you're back to square one even later in the game.

I feel that if the majority wanted to go at LITT, I'd agree for the sake of moving things, but I'm not about to proclaim that he's BAD BECAUSE HES QUIET shtick.
I think one of the people who went after Benny is bad. Possibly trying to get someone who contributes consistently out with shoddy reasoning.
So malka or canaan. I can get on board.

This feels to me like a classic red move... to pick on the noob to try and get an easy vote off, but when it doesn't work switch your vote to someone who seems to be gaining momentum towards being lynched... I don't feel the need to lynch Pavel just because he lynched me, just observing behavior that seems eager to lynch someone and move forward...
That being said, Malk responded similarly saying "if everyone else wanted to move forward with LITT I would too, but I'm keeping with Benny." IMO one of these guys is red, for now I'm sticking with my thought on canaan or Malk and agreeing with MWB that one of the guys who went after Benny is red....
I'm going to have to lynch Malkamaniac for now, but will definitely be interested to see the result.

I'm just mind boggled by the fact that it was stated "kill the quiet ones and let the seer see the talkers." Like it was an actual strategy. You better hope the seer isn't killed on some random night halfway into the game without even telling anyone who's who.
Then the village essentially starts over. Good call.
What's the reason behind the LITT vote?
Because he's not posting?
1) He's not posting.
2) Not only is he not posting, he came in quietly at the end of yesterday's phase, made his vote, and dipped out. If he was completely out of the game thus far, I would be less inclined to think he was bad. But the fact he took the time to come in and place his vote indicates to me that he is paying attention, but consciously laying low.

yea but honestly, whats the alternative? i mean, by your way of thinking then the seer should just come out now and tell us his 1 see so that we're at least guaranteed something before he dies.

Malk's gaining momentum? With two votes? Come on now you're still trying too hard. As for the noob thing, of course I'm gonna try and put pressure on a noob, when people aren't experienced in this game (yes you played IRL but online you haven't) they make obvious mistakes and putting pressure on them forces those mistakes. Noobs are either easy clears or easy kills based on how they react to pressure. I'd still be up for lynching you but Malka seems better now because he went right into the "I'm blue but if you feel like you need to kill me go ahead." mode when there isn't even a real train on him. That looks more suspicious than you trying to force your thoughts at this moment.

The seer has always usually played to the point of seeing a red and mostly coming out. The way I'm reading into your suggestion is to completely forget about the people talking and let the Seer deal with them on the chance that one of them is bad.
That's just completely coming off as an ignore the talkers, get the quiet ones, for the sake of the game.

So was my blue claim more suspicious than columbia's? Everyone can and will claim they're blue. That's the way the game goes.

I haven't voted yet because I haven't been sure what the best vote is. I don't won't to eliminate someone who is quiet because that very rarely works, but shaf does bring up a good point about him dipping in to make a vote. So far this seems to be the rest reasoning out of all of the ones I've read.

No but people have patterns and one I've seen from you when you're bad is throwing yourself a pity party while at the same time saying, "Well if that's what everyone wants then so be it." when votes get put on you.

That's how the game is played lol. Do what you gotta do.

During the last game I was in with Malk he was blue and he said the same thing then as well. So I don't think that is a tell. He still may be red, but I don't think him saying he is blue makes it obvious that he is red.

Maybe he's busy today like me and can't contribute to the conversation. Not everyone can be on the computer all day checking in like you...that being said, ill be back around 4 to check in again.

It isn't that he's saying he's blue. It's his method when there's very little pressure on him.

That's just the way I play. If it's the best most logical move during the game to get answers, then make it. There's only so many answers you can actually answer before stuff gets redundant and confusing.
so far, LITT's contribution has been a vote (nan), a question as to who cpl klinger was, and a joking asking if pfidc was bad. All in the 3-4pm hours yesterday. I'm willing to give him until that time window today in case his access is limited to that time of day.
LITT is on my gmail chat list and he hasn't been on there since yesterday afternoon if that means anything in regards to his quietness.
I too have been quiet. Just reading and trying see what is going on. Nothing much to contribute so far and I think that mindless posts can confuse the game a bit.
