new planet should be named Lemieux

I know I'm a dork, that ain't news. But the discovery of a new planet out near pluto is, and I think the guy who gets to name it should call it Lemieux. Sure almost all the other planets are named after roman gods, not earth though. This way every kid that has to learn the solar system would have learn mario's name. It hasn't been officially recognized yet by the Astronomical union but when or if it is I'm pretty sure the guy that found it gets to name it. Maybe I'll dig up his email address and start an email campaign to that effect, hopefully he's a hockey fan.
