I was planning to do my taxes myself this year but last week I lost time and I've been putting it off. I bought TurboTax but I'm not sure its working correctly.
The Federal Taxes paid from the W-2 section are not adding up correctly.
I'm getting a little irritated.
has anyone used this program, if so, are you satisfied?
I'm not sure I want to continue using this if it can't add two figures correctly.
Anyone use TurboTax?

Re: Anyone use TurboTax?
I used it in the past, but not this year. Last year, the program included some nasty spyware, and I vowed never to use it again. This year, I am using TaxAct, the basic version of which you can download for free at http://www.taxact.com/. It seems very good, and is certified to be spyware free.Bowser wrote:I was planning to do my taxes myself this year but last week I lost time and I've been putting it off. Turbo Tax usually worked fine for me, other than operator error. Well, the one thing I did have trouble with and ended up having to file an amended return was because TT was unclear on where to enter something.
