I thought about having a thread like this, but double posting each time. First post would be made and then posted again immediately after. Next time a post was made, make the post, then copy it and replace the original post with it...along with links in the first post for each prior submission so that they could each be read if someone wanted to go back to them.

You create a thread. Below is an example of how the posts would work:

1. Original Poster: Member of the Day #1
2. Original Poster: Member of the Day #1
3. random response from someone: lulz
4. random response from someone: I remember that guy
5. random response from I40: foe'd

Then when the next day would come along and the thread would look like this:

1. Original Poster: Member of the Day #2
[link to member of the day 1]
2. Original Poster: Member of the Day #1
3. random response from someone: lulz
4. random response from someone: I remember that guy
5. random response from I40: foe'd
6. Original Poster: Member of the Day #2
7. random response from someone: lulz
8. random response from someone: I remember that guy

Then the 3rd day would come along and the thread would look like this:
