Scott Carpenter has passed away. John Glenn is now the sole surviving member of the Mercury 7 astronauts.

Didn't realize this until today, but the Mercury 7 were the only group of astronauts with members that flew on all classes of manned orbital spacecraft NASA operated in the 20th century.
