Re: *** Jellyfish Invasion III: Return of the Sloogs GDT ***
I just voted for EPP F.T.L.shafnutz05 wrote:So yesterday, I vote for crankshaft and NAN follows suit shortly after. Immediately after those two votes, Mac posts that he has a "hunch" about EPP, which turned out to be invalid. Ultimately, crankshaft role-claimed (or something) and the bandwagon eventually worked its way over to EPP, and that was that.
Either mac just posted a clueless hunch with no follow up (possible), or he was trying to get the vote off of Crankshaft early on in the vote, before he would be forced to claim a role (also possible).

Nor have I. Figured a visit might carry the chance of my own death.redwill wrote:I have not visited the Sloogery. Would also like to hear anything from those who have. They may not be able to say, though.canaan wrote:but on to gameplay...
can we discuss who has visited the sloogery and what has transpired from that? im trying to get an understanding of the game structure...which will be damn near impossible, but i think it will lend to decent information going forward

Nice to see that Crankshaft has completely dropped off the face of the earth since his "role claim"

What was Crankshaft's claim...he just had to "find the right package", right? Maybe he found it last night

he backed away quickly from that. Perhaps I overreacted but it sure seemed a claim at first read.MRandall25 wrote:Nice to see that Crankshaft has completely dropped off the face of the earth since his "role claim"

Or maybe it was panic. I don't know, it seemed a little nebulous.

I think it was twc's games where the packages can be super helpful or annoying (posting in a certain way, not being allowed to vote on a given day, etc).redwill wrote:Yeah, last time I opened a package was in Lost Wars. The day phase just started. Some of us are working.
I can't speak to the specifics of what I experienced. However, if you notice from the last day phase, although I tried to net NAN, my vote never counted. It was part of everything.

Lost was a twc game. I was "annoyed" at dying instantly.obhave wrote:I think it was twc's games where the packages can be super helpful or annoying (posting in a certain way, not being allowed to vote on a given day, etc).

I used my slug on day 1. It was a random.org slug and although I received no clarification as to what the slug actually did I believe it caused the day 1 vote to be decided via random.org.

You haven't posted at all, then come in with a vote without any explanation? I find that odd.Kaizer wrote:net mac.

I thought TWC was threatening that if a majority wasn't reached on day 2?shafnutz05 wrote:If it didn't get to a majority, you mean?Sam's Drunk Dog wrote:I used my slug on day 1. Re: *** Jellyfish Invasion III: Return of the Sloogs GDT ***
The write-up states that
I'm going to net slappybrown. If Crankshaft was/is the ISK and the jellies found out, it wouldn't be worth while using a kill on him but they'd surely want to swing the vote that way.
This seems to suggest that we've got a modified ISK role who, after being protected by the angel/doctor, has become a vigilante. After his role claim, Crankshaft seems like the obvious choice for protection in the last night phase. This leads me to believe that Crank is (now) the vigilante.Elsewhere, a doctor cured a killer.. or at least he is feeling more vigilant now.

It was a hunch. I called him out on day 1 also. Plus I like voting for EPP because he will freak out over 1 vote.shafnutz05 wrote:So yesterday, I vote for crankshaft and NAN follows suit shortly after. Just a hunch.

I'm going to net Juice
Has been exceedingly quiet, but still posting votes. I'm not really seeing the slappy vote, and I'm assuming mac is just a blue.

Juice was my thought as well, especially with the mind control of mac and "nuggets".shafnutz05 wrote:I'm going to net Juice

Just seems like a classic Juice move.
