Re: RIP Thread
All the "hoax" articles seem to stem from that media site that also posted Lou Reed wasn't dead and we all know how that worked out.

Re: RIP Thread
From some of the articles I've read, it sounds like he was letting friends drive his new Porsche and was a passenger. How often do cars really explode upon impact anyway? I always thought that was a Hollywood myth.

Damn, so sad to see him go. And it's kind of odd that the original Fast & Furious came on Bravo a little bit ago.

Re: RIP Thread
It sucks but how ironic is that an action star known for car racing movies dies in a car wreck that actually results in an explosion?

Re: RIP Thread
I'll await some details but my initial reaction is F him for doing those kind of speeds on residential streets where innocent people could've been harmed.
But I'll fight that feeling until details are released.

Figured I'd put this here instead of JToR:
RIP Katie (my dog). You lasted a year and a half longer than anyone thought you would, but you were still the best dog this guy could have asked for.

Re: RIP Thread
RIP Katie...

Wow, Walker was a big time shark conservationist and would go out to sea with the group from the Marine Conservation Science Institute and tag great whites. Apparently he was leaving a charity event his organization was hosting to raise funds for Typhoon Haiyan relief. Friend was driving, who also lost their life.blackjack68 wrote:His agent has confirmed his passing.
In the motor racing world, that would be described as 'non-survivable impact'.Bioshock wrote:If the photo of his car accident is real, then holy ****.
