re: myRA

I don't see the need for it. If someone can't save up a $1000 to open an IRA, they're probably not going to do this.

I wish they would do something sensible like raise the personal limit on IRAs/Roths to $10,000
Or $20,000.

Or maybe no limit at all.

Spoiler:
Nah... It was overdue. You'll see it settle down here and see-saw a "saw tooth" pattern for a while from here.

At least a 10% or more correction is needed. I would think.

Another 1500+ point drop in the dow would probably trigger a massive drop.

I wouldn't mind a 10 year lull.
Great buying opportunity.

Everyone has to follow their own path, but I buy 6 times a month. It seems best to ignore the noise of days like this.

Here's a great example of some HORRIBLE financial journalism....well, I'm not sure what to call it:

See what's wrong with that?

Well, the data really look like this:

No load mutual funds, with barely a blip on the radar expense ratios. aka Vanguard:

Market Vectors Russia ETF (RSX) went from Friday's $24.44 to the low of $22.16, before closing at $22.76, and pushing back to $23.00 after hours. Just to see how far negative investor sentiment can go, I created a few limit orders with prices $21.70-$22.50, but I feel this opportunity is gone.

This is one of those days, where I wish I did.

However, I saw the VXUS (Total International) ETF plunging just after 9:30, so put a buy into my mutual fund version of it....the ETF ended being down by just under 2%.
I was hoping for a much bigger drop.
