I'm going to follow this situation very closely and post views from KC to:

Just a little disclaimer -- I am a huge Penguins fan. My father is a Pittsburgh native. He says things like "yunz" and "gum-bands".
I want the Pens to stay in Pittsburgh, but I also want KC to get a hockey team for a snazzy new arena.
A view from KC
Re: A view from KC
Does you dad tell you to stop bothering unhappy Penguin fans who don't want to think about the team playing anywhere other than here. At least for one last season anyways. If not he should.KCHockey wrote:I'm going to follow this situation very closely and post views from KC to:

I wouldnt be so confident about your chances KC.
New York has 3 teams
Los Angeles has 2
Why does Toronto have only 1?
If this team leaves, its going to Toronto. Whoever buys it will make a ton of money there with 87 in the linep, and will do so for years, unlike any of these U.S. "fad" markets. Hockey will fail in KC (again) just like it will in any NFL dominated city.
