MOD UPDATE:
Sorry for the confusion on the colors. The dead are simply blue. I'll edit to remove their NES colors to aid in the clarification.
Apologies for letting my artsy side come through.

Re: Super Mario Bros Warz: Bowser's Revenge GAME THREAD
As a mod I would have left it for the panic it causes, but as a player thank you for clarifying.
In BigMck's defense, when I modded World Warz II it was, I believe, his first game and he was chosen as the red alpha. He said that was an unlucky draw as he is not able to post much during the day while getting such a big role in his first game.
It is interesting that he chimes in right when called out though...

That honestly doesn't clear things up, but that's our job.

I am present and accounted for. I have a pocket full of quarters are am ready to play in this arcade.
As Dagny pointed out, there is a time difference that can interfere with playing. For the record, the only game that I signed up for and didn't play in was the island jelly game. Work travel and HR issues killed my daytime posts.

Obviously we can't wait forever, and I don't believe in absolutes. It does give us an opportunity to see who answers, and who does not, when called out.MWB wrote:I guess this is where I get confused. You will give certain people leeway, including yourself, for not participating because of time differences. Completely understandable. However, everyone can have a reason to not participate. And if we wait for them to weigh in, are they no longer a non-participant?dagny wrote:He actually gets the longest leeway from me, being on the West coast. However, I'm also in california, but I'm here.Crankshaft wrote:If we're just going to eliminate someone for being a "non" player, then I would look at BigMcK. That guy signs up for everything but I don't really ever recall him actually playing.
I must concur, in the last few games, he has signed up and not participated much.
Where are Pavel and canaan??? Pavel is, like, warz godfather, and canaan is just warz fun.
My thinking is, if we get a couple days in and haven't heard from someone, kill them. Otherwise, it's just a shot in the dark as much as anyone else this early.

Step away from the arcade for a spell and the thread goes haywire, with no real movement. At least we haven't already voted of dagny by now... (now that was a day 1 vote for day 1 votes, voting off a green before they can even post in thread!)

See, now you understand my apprehension at the possibility of doing that to another RPer.

Lynch Crankshaft
I find it funny that the first post he makes, he calls me out for not having yet made a post.

Among those who haven't posted, shaf is the odd one. He is posting elsewhere, but not here. Others don't seem to have posted anywhere yet.

Re: Super Mario Bros Warz: Bowser's Revenge GAME THREAD
I sent a shout out on fb for canaan and Pavel to get their goombas here. Pavel has answered.
I'm taking note of the mention that shaf is posting elsewhere, but hasn't here.

Can someone sticky this thread? I kept noticing the signup was at the top of NHR Games and didn't realize the game had started.

To add, the only reason I realized the game even started is I just saw Dagny's aforementioned FB post

What are the odds that shaf comes on and just says that he figured he'd be dead the first day so didn't bother checking?

Really? You had no other resource to let you know the game started? You didn't get a PM or anything?shafnutz05 wrote:To add, the only reason I realized the game even started is I just saw Dagny's aforementioned FB post
