Well when Rodgers went down last year and I had Foles to perform as one of the best QBs the rest of the way anyway, it was pretty great.Idoit40fans wrote:Lets ask the guy who won the league last year. Re: LGP Fantasy Football Keeper League 2013
I didn't draft Luck in the 5th. he was a keeper, that was a bad value pick because teams were holding off on drafting all the starting qb's in the second tier. I drafted Rodgers because I didn't think the RB options in the second round provided enough of an upgrade over vereen to take. And the WR tier falls off a cliff after Antonio Brown imo. So Rodgers was the best pick there for me.
I really like the Romo/Cutler/Ryan/Foles group of QB's this year, great value and great plays. I believe they're an upgrade over Luck and I thought the value was worth it in the 8th round. Getting Romo as a backup made more sense than Rueben Randle as my WR4 there.
plus it was a numbers game, there were 3 of you that needed a QB and 4 QB's worth taking at that point. you 3 (LITT, Idoit and Kraftster) probably all would have held out another round or two. It had the added benefit of finally forcing you guys to pick a QB.

Going to 0-3, will consider selling early. Rodgers and Julio Jones first to go

Yahoo's write up of shaf's destruction of me. lulz
Matt Shaffer's Team (fifth place, 2-2, 388.58 points), like the heroes of every children's sports movie, defy expectations, believe in themselves, and kick Daryl Johnston (3-1, 471.82 points) out of the top spot in the league after dismantling them 144.62 to 90.00. Matt Shaffer's Team also recorded the highest point total this season. This is the kind of victory the grandchildren will hear about.

Yes, I was pleasantly surprised when I didn't have to put in a waiver for Ronnie Hillman

Re: LGP Fantasy Football Keeper League 2013
isn't that the purpose of handcuffs?
Inversely, should an injury happen, the player with the higher waiver get hillman?
