Is Tim Robbins bad?

Add to that list Mystic River and Jacob's Ladder. Are we judging him exclusively on Antitrust or something?
That's one of them. The other is that movie he did with Martin Lawrence. I'm just too aware that I'm watching someone act when I watch him.
Nothing To Lose? Great movie.

Such action has its merits; that's how I got into hockey, and it got me my senior prom date. So there.

...The Hudsucker Proxy...
One of my favorite comedies from the 90s.

Tim Robbins is fun to watch play hockey. He was part of the Bruckheimer Follies (group of Hollywood types that had weekly ice time at the rink the hour before my league), and since 90% of the other actorly talent that would participate were normal actor dimensions, he stood like a foot taller than anyone else on the ice.

That was fun to watch, cos they'd often get retired NHLers to play with them, or active players during lockouts and such. So fun to watch these guys dork around and put in like 25% effort and still be utterly unstoppable against Michael T Actorguy.

Gone With The Wind for me.

People get IRATE down heah' when I tell them I haven't watched it. Too funny. Like they take it like a personal affront that I haven't laid eyes on the greatest spectacle of Southern culture.

eh...of the ones i've seen, i'd rank them in descending order. I presume that if I ever see 1, that won't change.
5, 4, 6 is the correct order. I won't comment on the abortions that are 1, 2, 3.

Inviting her to join you to watch them together would have been a better play

Well, I live in South Carolina...most people over 30 claim it to be classic. I work at a college, and most of them haven't heard of it. :pop:

Rhett Butler is one of my favorites characters in all of film. I usually watch this once a year, but I figured a lot of people wouldn't have watched it as well

I will, never, ever, EVER, EVAH, call myself a Southerner. Even after 24 years here, I'm still a Yankee carpetbagger to the diehards. ;)

You're right, probably would have been...until her big bf got wind of the idea. I don't exactly have the height or weight numbers to win that confrontation. :face:

I never understood why a man would want a woman he has to keep by force. So insecure and brutish, big man.

If my wife thinks she can do better, I say let her try. It would save time in the end.

But the girls that are with the big, insecure guys aren't worth your time either because they're probably just as flawed as the guy.

Now, if were just talking about a one night stand, then that's a different story...

I have a coworker who is my age, from Miami, went to Duke, has a degree in software engineering and is maybe the least cultured person I've ever met. Here's an incomplete list of films he hasn't seen:

Any Star Wars
Any Lord of the Rings
Any Bill Murray
Any Tarintino other than Django
Any Kubrick
Any Monty Python other than HALF of the Holy Grail
Any Bruce Willis
Any Mel Gibson
Any good Adam Sandler (he's seen Click, Zohan, Grown Ups...)
Any Jim Carrey
Matrix
Gladiator
The Departed
Any Mel Brooks
Any Schwarzenegger other than crap like Terminators 3 and 4
Any Indiana Jones

there's a ton more; this is just ones I can remember offhand. I guess I have a problem that it affects me so much, but you really have to try to not see any of these films, right?
