The article says it wouldn't start for a few years. I'd watch.

Also agree that the way it ended was right. A happy ending would have been out of place.

The good thing is we will see again Oppie, Clay, maybe young Tara, baby Jakson and of course John Teller
Exactly how much younger than everyone was Jax?

I'd say Jax was probably 20-25 years younger than clay, piney etc, probably 10ish years younger than Tig and Chibbs. At least that was my assumption. Jax in his late 20's early 30's. Clay Mid 50's, Piney early 60's... Chibbs and Tig ... early to mid 40's. I dunno.

I never paid attention to if they actually gave birth years.

I think they meant Piney, not Opie.

Then why "maybe young Tara"?

I chalked it up to bad writing. If the show's about the original 9, then I can't see them spending much time on the toddlers. Especially considering how bad the child actors on SOA were. ;)

Just finished, and followed along with the thread as I went. Last few episodes of this season was better than most any episode since before Ireland. Overall I wish I had just skipped from the episode where Opie died to the episode where Unser/Gemma die. I don't think I would have missed much.

Gemma just went too easy, wasn't satisfying. The scene was about his agony, not hers. The fact that she consented to it stole away the joy I had been saving for the moment.

Personally I thought Jax was going to plant himself in the wall next to JT's roadside memorial, but the CHP were nice enough to do that 20mph endless chase until the truck got there so that's fine. For a minute I thought he was going to accidentally trigger a pileup that killed Nero/Wendy/kids. That would've been really great tragedy. Alas.

Sutter is not as smart as he thinks he is, pretty predictable and thus anti-climactic.

Glad you guys liked it though. And glad it didn't linger yet another season.

Not to sound like a broken record but that scene was certainly about her agony as well and as a parent I felt it. There is a reason that Sutter tweeted something about hugging your kids before bedtime the night that episode aired. You can chalk that up to another 'it feels different if you're a parent' thing. At least I think I would have felt differently if I wasn't a parent.

I can think of about nine ways to make the scene better. Imagine if she has just gotten off'd somewhat randomly in a retaliation or something. Gemma loses her shot at saying her piece, and Jax loses his closure. Man, that would've hurt. Instead, meh.

I suppose if you want everything wrapped up neatly with a bow on top, it ended really nicely for you.

Final Season Blu Ray is on sale $29.99 bluray at Target this Tuesday. Dvd would be $24.99 and Amazon has a series boxset for I think $170.00.
