you think a team that is 123rd in the NCAA in passing yards is going to be putting up points on our defense in this game? This has the makings of a 13-10 snoozer.

I agree, every game but 2 was at least close. BC will probably win but they are not getting a blowout win with that offense vs a top national defense.
Unexpected, but I guess not really a surprise. He and his "people" seem like they've always had an eye toward his future post-college football. He didn't commit to Penn State as much as he committed to Bill O'Brien and Hackenberg's regression this season was probably pretty alarming for someone trying to become the best pocket-passer they can be.
This is the first recruiting season I've followed in earnest and I've realized more than ever that it's not over until signing day. Franklin's done a great job recruiting so far. Hopefully these recruits stay committed and it translates to on the field success.
Current B1G recruitment rankings...pretty crazy seeing the separation between OSU/PSU and the rest of the conference. And my oh my how Michigan has fallen on hard times, incredible seeing them ranked last in recruiting in the entire conference.
Nationally, Penn State still firmly inside the Top 10, with 12 4-star recruits and 8 3-star recruits. I think this team is trending upwards, really excited to see where they stand this year and next.
Looks like that 1 5 star guy is the difference up at the top. PSU has been having good recruiting classes now for a couple years. They are bordering on a great recruiting class this coming year.
With Pitt basically in a constant state of turmoil, Franklin needs to put a chokehold on western PA with these next two classes. As far as the on-field product goes, I don't see us improving much next year but I could see them making some noise in 2016.
In laws Christmas party is Saturday starting at 4, which means I GET TO WATCH THE PSU BOWL GAME AT A TINY HOUSE FULL OF PITT FANS!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
fml
UPDATE: Pitt fan brother in law has the flu. To ensure non contagion the Christmas party is postponed to New Year's. Pinstripe Bowl viewing in comfort of my family room re-established.
