Watching the Brady's get beaten badly by the Sherman's should make for a fun day.

I wonder if Aaron Hernandez has any predictions he would like be known...

From what I saw on CNN, Hernandez supposedly said he won't be watching the SB.

As per the actual matchup, I don't get all the love for the Pats. Other than Gronk, who are their offensive playmakers? Blounts not going to have any room to run and Edelman and Amendola are going to get hammered by the much bigger CBs. And the Pats defensive strength is the Seahawks offensive weakness (passing game) and Lynch should have a really good game against the Pats run D.

The matchup will be Seattle's secondary (mostly Chancellor iwm going to guess) vs Gronk. Whichever one wins that matchup will probably win the game. If Gronk goes over 100 with a TD I'd be surprised if Seattle wins.

But I don't think that'll happen because they should be able to bracket him all game

Personally, I think the key is whether Lynch and the SEA line win their battle. If they don't, tough to see SEA winning IMO. NE has to sell out to stop the run (and SEA doesn't have any edge with their WR/TE vs. the Pats' secondary, so I expect they'll do just that). Still think the Seahawks have this in a tight one.

My prop bets:
-Seattle gets first sack +130
- Hooma...Hoomana...Hooman...not gonna work here anymore to get over 6.5 yards at +120
-Seattle to win by 7-12 +521
-Belichick leaves sleeves intact +180

I also bet Seattle -2 at +105 and am gonna parlay Seattle money like with the Penguins on Sunday

@Jeff_McLane: Judging by the team gear that fans walking around downtown Phoenix are wearing, the Seahawks are playing the Seahawks in the Super Bowl.

New wager in our group. Straight up.

Total score for either team can not have the same first digit as the other team. 21 - 27, no good. 14 - 17, no good. 21 - 35, good.

Pick whether the teams will have the same first digit, or bet whether the teams will not same first digit.

One more way to make it a betting day.

I hope it is lopsided and basically over by the 2nd qtr. No interest ! although, if the pats could lose in the last minute as they did when plax was playing for the giants... good memory.

If there's a Star Wars trailer during the Superbowl, I don't care who wins because we've all won

Especially if they show the "George Lucas rererelease trailer"
