lol I was a huge SNL fan back in the day, I'm sure the guest stars will be awesome. SNL's best shows (these days) are the throwback shows, so this will probably be enjoyable for sure.

I think people tend to lionize the first cast because of a relatively few iconic bits.... but in terms of consistently high achievement, the casts from early 80s and then the late 80s-early 90s were as good as sketch comedy has ever been.
