A poll on "who here currently has the coolest job?" would be fun.

what do you do on a daily basis as a lobbyist?
Lobby.
Spoiler:
Day-to-day depends, but usually includes meeting with Cong. Members and/or staff and drafting legislation and working to get it passed by Congress. For the political geek in me, it's an awesome job.
I was planning on being a doctor from childhood through college. Lots of medical professionals in my family, including my father, grandfather, aunt, uncle, and two cousins, and my mother is a nurse practitioner. When approaching graduation in college, I took a long hard look at myself and my personality, and I didn't think I'd make a good doctor. For one thing, I don't really care much about other people. A different aunt and uncle, who are both lawyers, told me they thought I'd be a good lawyer, so I went to law school instead of medical school (there are also a bunch of lawyers in the family). Not caring much about other people is no hindrance to being a good lawyer; in fact, it may help. And I do enjoy what I do, so I think it was a good choice.

It all makes sense to me now. I've read most of your posts on the "Where's my gun owners" thread and often though, "How does this dude know so much about this stuff". Now I know.
Does Penn's Cave still do air tours? I remember when I was little and the pilot let me sit up in the co-pilot's chair (feel like this would never happen nowadays)...anyways, my dad told the pilot to "give me control" of the plane (there was another yoke on my side). As soon as I started to "fly" the plane, he immediately went into a semi nose-dive for a second or two. Shortly after he went "Whoa, you are an animal!"
Up until about junior year of high school, I thought I was going to be on a track to be a teacher because then I also wanted to be some sort of high school athletics coach.
Instead, I now get paid to watch TV and travel to cover events and instead of coaching high school athletics, I'm officiating them.
Hockeynut has my current dream job but it sounds like a supreme pain in the ass, so I can't say I'm interested.
...and I'm not talented enough
It's really a good job. I have 9 great clients things for every pita one. It's just the typical being self-employed, doing every single thing myself that can be overwhelming.
I actually never had any aspirations to be a photographer. I've always wanted to be a writer. I ever wrote short stories in early elementary school and read them to classmates on the school bus, etc. Nothing else ever interested me. Unless vagabond counts as a career goal.

Really impressive work by the way. Checked out your website after Horror Film Warz.
Always wanted to be a pro baseball player. Still do.
Dennis Quaid?
I always wanted to be a great defender. Like all time great defensive ss or cf. guys that add value to a team even if they suck at offense always hold a special place in the place that my heart should be.
