lol why are you bumping this, to torture FC?pensfan1989 wrote:Bump
I think PJ are very good musically, but one thing that gets on my nerves is the singer. He can go to hell for all I care. He sounds like he inserts a women's personal massager in himself before a concert.

FreeCandy, I got your back. I grew up LOVING pearl jam, as well as the whole grunge thing in the 90s (I was late to the party)
I understand the criticism of Eddie's voice, but come on. That band is immensely talented musically. They've collaborated with other musicians (Temple of the Dog, Mother Love Bone) and I truly do think they're talented. I understand if you hate Eddies voice, but they're not terrible

What's your opinion on Chris Cornell? I personally love that guy, although his notes are so hard to hit he can't even hit them anymore

This thread is for bands that suck. Leave Cornell out of it.Jofa Guy wrote:What's your opinion on Chris Cornell? I personally love that guy, although his notes are so hard to hit he can't even hit them anymore

Haha my apologies, pidc. Sound garden or audioslave? Both bands, IMO, kick ass and I respect sound garden. However I'm prefer audioslave.

I love dave grohl too but I'm quickly starting to lose my once was obsession with foo fighters. Stranger things have happened is my favorite song by them. The whole echoes silence album kicks ass

Dont apologize to him, yes Cornell/Soundgarden are a fav, as well as Screaming Trees, Melvins, Mark Lanegan etc.

Haha, what reference was it? I might have done it without knowing it was actually a reference. I do that sometimes

Re: Official Pearl Jam is Bad Thread
This, the fact that they have different lyrics, although uncomprehending to the ears, still is badass. Or its genius for Eddie mumbling and thinking they're all actual lyrics. Music TrollPensFanInDC wrote:Yellow Ledbetter live is so good.

The billy Madison list thing I posted. I don't feel old by any means im 32 but its just insane to me that I converse (on here and in real life) with people that were barely born when my favorite movies came out.

Its equally weird to me that kids that were not alive during 9/11 are now 13.DudeMan2766 wrote:The billy Madison list thing I posted. Re: Official Pearl Jam is Bad Thread
That's true. I am one of 9 children (Yes I've heard all the jokes) so I had many older brothers. Billy Madison is a great movie, because when I was like 10-12, the immaturity parts were what I liked. Now I'm almost 24, I still LOVE the immaturity, but I get the whole innuendos as well. One of my favorite parts is when he's talking to the janitor "Want some milk" .... "I'd rather have a beer" and its at 9 am. So freaking funny
