Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
Full match of Austin vs Hart at WM13 with Austin commentating about the match the entire time. Really interesting to hear him speak about the match and the audibles called and what they were doing as you watch.

There was a time in the past 10 or so years where Smackdown was easily more fun to watch then Raw. Right now neither show is really any good. NxT is the only show worth catching on a week to week basis.

I had it on while I do other stuff in the background because there is pretty much nothing else on. I got so insanely sick of Lawler's high pitched shrieks I had to change it. He literally does that more than he says actual words.

Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
It was probably when Heyman was in charge of it. Him and JR. are two of the most intelligent guys in the business today. Raw would be 10x better if it were ran by one of those two, if not both.skullman80 wrote:There was a time in the past 10 or so years where Smackdown was easily more fun to watch then Raw. Yeah there has been plenty of stories of him being a *****. He should have been fired long ago, but its good he finally stepped down I guess. Wonder how many careers he ruined.

I immediately thought of Lemiuex saying he doesn't order fries when he goes to McDonalds as part of his preseason regiment.

Obviously you would want to only have dedicated people get farther into the training so that they would be capable of handling the grind and pressure involved in the day to day business... but you can tell when someone is just a jerk. There is being tough to make a point and then there is being tough because you are a dbag.Pavel Bure wrote:Yeah the best Tough Enough trainer was Al Snow.Jim wrote:He seemed like a pompous self important tool in Tough Enough.

Nothing better than fake tough guys who know theres a 0% chance of any one of their students retaliating. You see the same with bully coaches in highschool and college too.Jim wrote:He seemed like a pompous self important tool in Tough Enough.

Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
I almost punched a teacher in highschool. Fist was made and arm started moving backwards... Other students behind him actually backed up. Within a couple seconds I changed my mind and just walked away (actually left the room). The teacher never said anything derogatory to me again though.DudeMan2766 wrote:Nothing better than fake tough guys who know theres a 0% chance of any one of their students retaliating. So...Pittsburgh Raw is tonight, Kofi and one of the divas are in Monroeville and Wiz is hosting. Maybe it wont suck as much as it normally does?

Anytime there is a guest host that isn't Bob Barker.. it sucks. Wiz is not going to appeal to the demographic that is at a wrestling show.

I don't even plan on watching. I'll skim through the DVR tomorrow. I'm just so blah on the product as a whole right now except for NXT.
