Ordered a Hornqvist player tshirt (alternate colors) online from Dick's and it arrived today. Sad to say I will be returning it. The logo on the front is a full inch off center, very noticeable. I'm not in the Pittsburgh area so would have to be an online purchase.
Try going to a store to return and complain. I'm sure they'll order you another one and ship to your house. Hell...I'd ask to keep the first one they sent still to use around the house!
Good idea about taking it back to a Dick's store in your area. They should refund your money no problem

...one more piece of advice, NEVER order any clothing (jersey, shirt, etc) from shop.nhl.com. I'm 0-2 with them. First I ordered a Malkin jersey. The numbers were made of a shiny, vinyl-like, almost plastic material. I have never seen numbers on a jersey like this! They looked like they'd melt in the sun if I wore it outside on a hot day. They gave me the hardest time over returning it, saying it was a customized jersey. After about 3 phone calls and emails, they agreed to refund my money. About 4 years later I order a Letang t-shirt for my girlfriend and the Pens logo on the front is way off center and crooked (similar to your experience). They refunded my money, but had to argue for the return shipping costs, which they later refunded also.

The "crookedness" on jersey tshirts isn't an issue that's unique to Dicks. The jersey tshirts at other places - including PensGear - have this issue too. Either the NHL shield / logo will be off center or crooked on the front, or the name and number will be crooked on the back. You almost need to buy them in person just to be safe. Maybe the quality will be better once Reebok stops making them.

Frankly, PensGear is even worse, price aside. The PensGear pricetag is typically punched through the thinner material just below the collar, either creating a good, 1/8" hole where it gets punched, or setting a trap for the buyer who pulls it out rather than cutting it. And good luck performing a good examination with gameday crowds.

They only have Crosby and Malkin for sale on their page, but you can probably call/email them and work out other arrangements.

It says "Made in Canada"...but knowing the team store, I doubt they are the 2.0 models.

Could also get in touch with House o Hockey.

The part in their product listing that states the jersey has a "Spandex four-way stretch pique core body" tells me that this is an Indo-Edge jersey (Reebok model #7231). The Edge 2.0 (Reebok model #7287) has its "core body" made of CCM Air-Knit material. The tagging and ribbon in the neckline that are visible on their picture also doesn't match the Edge 2.0 jersey I have (pics here: http://jeffshly.weebly.com/2014-15-reeb ... aatta.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;). I'll call this an honest mistake, as opposed to deliberate misrepresentation, that TeamPittsburghGear.com is calling this an "Authentic On Ice" jersey. This jersey never sees the ice unless a fan wears it to a local skating rink.

I'm not sure if HoH has had enough demand to order Edge 2.0's yet, nor do I know if they've sold through most of their stock of Premier Replicas in this style. Talking to Ron, the owner of HoH about a year ago, he had minimum order quantities to buy Edge 2.0's from Reebok and he didn't want to stock that many jerseys until he had sold off much of his Premier Replica stock. But it's certainly worth a phone call or an e-mail to ask him. If that doesn't work, Jersey Baron has Edge 2.0 alternate jerseys on sale (http://stores.ebay.com/The-Jersey-Baron ... 7675.l2563" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) for $350, some already lettered for $400, but there's something that's just not quite right about their lettering. I bought mine from Jersey Baron blank, then had HoH letter it. As you can see in the pics, it turned out really nice.

You're allowed to talk about anything you want! I don't think anyone is going to crucify you for talking about or buying or wearing a knockoff jersey. Hell, I own a couple. But for collecting, they're not my thing. It comes down to personal preference. I don't think I'm some kind of uppity snob for owning game-worns or authentics, nor do I think you'd be some kind of scumbag who supports slave labor and organized crime for owning a knockoff.

Thanks for the input.

I was maybe looking to get a size 46 to play hockey in. I dont want to use my 2.0 for that, its too expensive to soil :)

Strange that they do not sell them in all shops. I just sometimes want to be able to click and purchase without having to start communicating directly with a store setting up requests etc.

Zooming in and looking at the picture, it's clear that this jersey is made of a solid, textured material. That's what's used on the 7231 jerseys, known as IndoEdge jerseys. The 7287 is made of AirKnit material, which is more of a mesh in that is has holes to allow it to breathe (a Knit that allows for Air flow, hence the AirKnit name). 7187's, the original Edge 1.0, also featured this textured material. The jersey pictured in the link above is definitely not a 7287 jersey. Compare to this authentic 7287 jersey: http://jeffshly.weebly.com/2014-15-reeb ... aatta.html

I don't think you can use the picture to decide or not...because I'm pretty sure that it's a photo of a replica model, but with the tag on the front bottom left hand corner photoshopped out. Zoom in on that area and you'll see what I mean.

Ice Jerseys have been selling 2.0's for a while now and label them the "(Made in Canada)" - if you have a question about it, just message them and ask.

Haze, I'd be wary of the jersey listed on Ice Jerseys. Even their description calls out an "Xtrafil" material that was used on the Edge 1.0 jerseys (per this link: https://prostocknation.wordpress.com/tag/xtrafil/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;). Based on what I see in the picture and what I read in the description, this isn't a 7287. I agree with you in that is recommend that anyone interested should call, but I wouldn't get my hopes up.

Hey, it's very possible that I'm wrong. I just know that in the past when they've had both "Indo" models and 2.0's of the same home/away colors at the same time, they've just called the "Indo" model just "Authentic", and the 2.0's " Authentic (Made in Canada)".
