Jaromir Jagoff (1812) is currently 39 points from taking 3rd ALL TIME in scoring from Gordie Howe (1850) and 76 points from taking 2nd ALL TIME from Mark Messier (1887)

The deal was not good for the Pens, but horrible for the Caps. He was a Cap for only two and a half years, at $11M per year. Plus, in the end, the deal cost the Caps Beech, Sivek, Lupaschuk, $5M to the Pens and $16M to the Rangers and the Caps ended up with Anson Carter on the ice, for 19 games.djlm wrote:This trio scored a whooping 13 goals for the Penguins between them. 3 for Sivek, 10 for Beech and 0 for Losethepuck, who had a great NHL career of... 3 games. This deal was bad at the time and keeps getting worse each game Jagr dresses.
So yeah, the Pens didn't get a good deal, but the Caps got screwed bad.

You say "cost" as though the Caps were missing out. Those guys all sucked.

Agree, losing Sivik, Beech and Loosethepuck was addition by subtraction.Malkintent wrote:You say "cost" as though the Caps were missing out. Those guys all sucked.
