Wonder if these two new guys in the secondary can cover Penn State lacrosse players?

This has one of those blame the defense when it breaks down but the offense can't do a thing kind of look about it.

Egad, looked like a train wreck on offense. I suspect the 2nd half will be different. I also think we have seen the best the Browns have to offer.

Refs making some really bad calls now. No way that was a personal foul.

Worst sequence of officiating I have seen ina long time. These clowns have no idea what a personal foul is.

Time for a seven-minute touchdown drive to stick a fork in these guys.

Great catch by Brown in spite of the holding and pass interference.

How is Juju still allowed in the game to take stupid penalties?

Huge push off by the wide receiver there.

So if we actually recover this onside kick three quick passes that will stop the clock would be what Haley does best.

Well count me as 100% wrong. OK how about a turnover when we get the ball. That would finish off the afternoon for me.Humperdink wrote:Egad, looked like a train wreck on offense. I suspect the 2nd half will be different. I also think we have seen the best the Browns have to offer.

So two football plays were enough to maintain possession.

Just need to work out the kinks. And maybe eliminate half of the 35 or so penalties. On the plus side, Watt looks like a stud.

Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
Looked like a pre season game for the starters and it essentially was on offense.
Juju shouldn't be on the field until he can learn to block without holding.

Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
3rd and 9 with 2:02 left why do you not go for a 10 yard pass there?
I know, hard to find something to complain about today but I'm trying :)

Because they only needed a FG to seal the game. 10 yards wasn't bigger than three points.

Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
Hope I'm wrong, but Bears game = trap game with Ravens looming on the horizon. Have to keep it from being a turnover and sack-filled Steelers road meltdown, ala Oakland road trips. Plus Glennon 1-0 versus Steelers, albeit during the 2014 Steeler D rebuilding years. Just hold serve and keep the turnovers at 1 or less.
On paper Bears will be underdogs in nearly every game they will play, but they'll wind up somewhere around 4-12. They'll knock off a couple of pretentious teams thinking all they have to do is show up. Just hope the Steelers can dodge that mentality.

Anyone questioning Alejandro Villanueva.....shame on you for 6 weeks.
Including the head coach, if that is indeed the case.

My personal takeaway from today's game is that JuJu is a Dragonball fan.
