THANKS!! do they have the road whites though or are they just home blacks? Wouldn't get the lettered ones for sure as I want pro-twill. Do you have a contact number so that I can ask them by any chance. HUGE THANKS and i will gladly give you a reward if I can score that jersey.

I got one before, but the customization guys screwed up by putting the 100 NHL patch above the player number *cries cries*
Sorry for the delayed response. Had a ton of things going on this weekend. They had both blacks and whites. Not sure of the number, but a quick Google search of Pens Gear at PPG Paints Arena should get you what you need. Good luck, and no reward necessary. Happy to help!

Anyone have an opinion on the new Adidas jerseys? Like them, not like them? How do they compare to Reebok?

Gotta have space for the eventual ads on the jerseys.

I agree with you though. Crest looks too low. Someone mentioned that maybe its because the way the neck/collar is put together. The old one had points that extended down into the chest of the jersey a little bit, the new ones are rounded off so it visually doesn't go down those 2 or 3 inches.

Not sure, because I don't have my hands on a new "AUTHENTIC" (lol) Adidas jersey.

I still a little upset with the Pens about their 50th Anniversary patch placement choice. That my Crosby authentic that I got in February couldn't have the Finals patch irritates me. I had to put it on my Guentzel replica that I got via Pens Points. #FirstPlaceProblems

Personally, I'd have liked to see the Pens 50-year patch resembed the 25-year patch they used back in 1991-92. That would've been a nice little homage to the patch used on the jerseys that they were already replicating. That 25-year patch was placed on the shoulder (reference: https://jeffshly.weebly.com/1991-92-ccm ... ancis.html) and it stayed there. The '92 Finals patch replaced (or, on game-worn jerseys, was actually placed over) the NHL 75-year patch (reference: http://www.penguinschronicles.com/uploa ... 49-2c.jpeg). Since the Pens were "going back to their roots" in terms of jerseys, I'd have like to see the patchwork follow the same idea.

With that said, I really do like those Pens 50-year patches. Seeing them up close and in person, the shine of the four Cups is really neat looking. The NHL 100-year patch...meh.

+1, i like it much more on the top right of the jersey. Not going to bother with the stanley cup patches as I think 50 years is more important than it.

To me, it doesn't look as bad on these smaller jerseys as it does on some bigger one. It seems they're putting letters (C and A's) below the seam on the chest, so the letter it more on the chest and less on the front shoulder. The crest then slides down a bit. I don't necessarily like that either.

As a gentleman who is not a skinny dude, which one of the new jerseys is built for the bigger gentleman? Like above a 2x?

Anyone got a size 46 Reebok 2016-2017 home jersey, Edge 2.0 Made in Canada?

Should have bought one when I had the chance I guess.

I'd think either in a size 54 or 56 would work. I think the Adidas are going to be a little more snug at the bottom. I'm 6'1" 235 and a Reebok 54 fits me great.

Smaller sizes Reeboks (lower than 50) are very hard to find over here.

Nice jersey. Although for me the "holy grail" jersey is a 1991 #9 Francis Stanley Cup jersey. There was one on ebay a few months back, It sold for a ridiculous amount.

I saw the one on eBay. It was a remade jersey. The yellow portion of the sleeves, where the numbers appear, were much shorter than the of-the-era authentics.

I'm also looking for an authentic black jersey from that time period. I have a white one, though. This is about as close as I can get to your "grail." It's one of mine, too! https://jeffshly.weebly.com/1991-92-ccm ... ancis.html

Good Morning all,

After reading through every thread here, I knew I finally found the place to hopefully get some answers! I have a rather small collection but am trying to get a few of the older jerseys that I never picked up in the past. Lately, I've picked up a couple of the Edge 2.0 authentics from both Jersey Baron and Icejerseys but now I'd like to fill in a gap in my collection so to speak.

I ran across a couple of the 90's alternates that I've always liked but never bought when they were more available. I found a couple up for bid but got really confused as to whether they're really authentic and whether they would even fit provided the many measurements I've taken of my own jerseys for comparison. So, what I've found is are the two items below:

First up is a KOHO:

Image

Next is a Starter: (this is the whole listing, they didn't post any larger pics)

https://www.ebay.com/itm/MARIO-LEMIEUX-66-PENGUINS-AUTHENTIC-STARTER-AWAY-HOCKEY-JERSEY-sz-54R-NWT/152620805529?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l9372

So, my questions are:

1. Are they legit authentics of their era or are they fakes?
2. Did Lemieux even wear either version of these jerseys?
3. If you guys were to choose, which one would be the winner and why?
a. The starter is NWT but a size 54r that "should" fit based on measurements given and compared to my size 56 Edge 2.0
b. The KOHO is more expensive but used...and also made in Ecuador...(from reading on here, Ecuador was a real sourced location)
c. The KOHO is a size 56 and my fit better, but not sure how their sizing stacks up to Edge 2.0
d. Starter guy accepts returns...KOHO guy does not.

Sorry for the long post, but I'm really wanting one of these jerseys and they're hard (for me anyway...) to find and I'd like a good one rather than a knockoff. If there's any help I can get from you fine folks, I'd really appreciate it!

**Not sure why my pictures aren't working but if I need to put the link up, please let me know.

Thanks!
OJ
