I don’t know but if you want any perceived speed he brings put in Vinnie. If you want someone who might finally figure out how to translate AHL scoring into NHL scoring then call up Nylander. A totally useless and unnecessary waiver claim much like Harkins.Southern Fan wrote: Thu Feb 22, 2024 7:28 pmWhat are we missing with Phillips? He truly looks like one of those kid skaters that stand with the Pens for the national anthem.

Why do we have zero break out skills when winning a dang defensive face off?

Want to see a replay of how bad Harkins messed that up.

With all the Face Off Success the Pens they certainly have had the opportunities to be better at this.pronovost19 wrote: Thu Feb 22, 2024 7:34 pmWhy do we have zero break out skills when winning a dang defensive face off?

I can’t believe Sullivan has him on Malkin’s wing tonight. Is he trying to make Malkin want out of Pittsburgh, or is he just that clueless?DelPen wrote: Thu Feb 22, 2024 7:31 pmI don’t know but if you want any perceived speed he brings put in Vinnie. Signing Phillips was a real short-sighted move, but his game can really get under an opponent's skinunder an opponent.Southern Fan wrote: Thu Feb 22, 2024 7:28 pmWhat are we missing with Phillips? He truly looks like one of those kid skaters that stand with the Pens for the national anthem.

At least Bemstrom is a RFA this summer and is only making $900K. Surprised we got something for Nylander.

Re: Official GDT: Pens vs Habs 2/22/24
Pens with so many turnovers that period, just asking for trouble.
Allowing the Habs to fly through the neutral zone in transition just as bad.Team looks like it is standing still.
Jarry with multiple big saves, saw too many shots from prime spots.
Pens got good looks with generating traffic down low, rebounds are going to be there.
Slow start once again which still can't be corrected from this Coach.Thinks his system will magically transform into success despite a season of it not working.
