Official GDT: Pens vs Oilers 3/10/24
Has Puljujarvi been worse than Bemstrom? It’s like Sullivan wasn’t asked is he would use him before we signed him.

Re: Official GDT: Pens vs Oilers 3/10/24
It must be in Puljujarvi's contract that he can't play against Edmonton
Let's sit a 25 year old player we have signed for next year but let's play 39 year old Carter on back to back games. That right there shows you that Sully couldn't care less about doing a re-tool. I'm sure Dubas is thrilled about that lineup decision...

I'd say Bemström is better than Puljujärvi, it's close though.
Quotes about both:
"[A] two-way forechecking winger whose above-average speed and size is counter-acted by a total lack of finishing touch and passing ability."
"[A] a fourth line two-way winger who generally has some trouble scoring goals at 5v5."
Doesn't rightly matter.

Well I happened to be up (thanks DST), let's make some coffee and see how this goes...
Edzo: "The assist there goes to Letang."
Uh...yeah. So more of the same then.

Defensemen should be learning to not make passes like that on day 1 when they are 6 years old.

This is infuriating Carter has zero future with this team play JPKG wrote: Sun Mar 10, 2024 12:55 pmIt must be in Puljujarvi's contract that he can't play against Edmonton![]()

He's 36 and still going up the middle...maybe he'll learn next year.

Letang continues his awful play of late with the inexcusable giveaway.Knows he is free from being held accountable.

Not good. But our shots on goal and shot attempts are outstanding.Crash66 wrote: Sun Mar 10, 2024 1:15 pmAnyone know what the goals for and against are the last 5 games?

I like Ludvig’s physicality but I don’t think he’s an NHL defenseman.

Maybe this is the game we’ll start to hear “Fire Sully” chants. Did it last season with Hextall.

Malkin never covers for Karlsson when he pinches.
What a great coached team. The message is clearly getting through to them.

If Dubas had any stones, there would be a coaching change at intermission.

Um ok, I know we all handle the time change differently, but is Letang actually drunk out there right now?

Re: Official GDT: Pens vs Oilers 3/10/24
Gotta put Carter on the power play . Instead of going with young Bemstrom.
Now is the time of the year to see the young guys get their chances.
