I for one cannot believe that they bring up Gruden, a center, and still don't manage to give Acciari a look on the RW with Carter out....or that Puljujarvi is still a scratch.

Again, regarding Puljujarvi...it would be one thing if he was only signed through the remainder of this season, and the team decided he wasn't fitting in. But, he looked good, and he is signed through next season. Puljujarvi has more skill and defensive ability than Bemstrom for sure...probably Gruden too.

Gruden doesn’t play much center though. Acciari is still the best option of who is on the roster but there are two centers in WBS ready for call ups so nothing makes sense here.

Almost like someone is obsessed with low skill, marginal, barely nhl caliber defensive pluggers over everything else.

What I think is interesting is that he's glued to the lineup but the guy who went out for him couldn't buy a spot no matter what. Is he that many multiples better than nylander that one deserves a permanent spot and the other basically no chance? Don't even factor in the insane fact that we threw away a draft pick also. Not sure why Columbus keeps letting nylander play anyway....
