POLL: Which forward group would you prefer?

Post by FLPensFan »

While we wait forever for the Cup finals to start and to get to the draft/UFA, I figured I'd pose a question to see where everyone's head is at. Which of the 3 groups below would you most be rooting for to be our opening night lineup this season. There's a little different flavor to each of them.

1) Group 1 - Active offseason:
DeBrusk-Crosby-Rust
Bunting-Malkin-Rakell
DOC-Sissons-Yager
Duhaime-Eller-Acciari
x-Puustinen, Puljujarvi

2) Group 2 - In-house Youth
Teravainen-Crosby-Rust
Bunting-Malkin-Rakell
DOC-Eller-Yager
Poulin-Acciari-Puustinen
x-Puljujarvi, Lomberg

3) Group 3 - Minimal moves
DOC-Crosby-Rust
Bunting-Malkin-Rakell
Puustinen-Eller-Acciari
Poulin-Boyd-Puljujarvi
X-Ponamarev, Lomberg

Certainly not option 3 for me :)

Team needs to make improvements. Hoping Dubas is active and puts more of his stamp on the roster this season. 1 for me.

Option 2.

Acciari-Poulin-Puustinen though

1 by far. Anyone who picks the other 2 options are fooling themselves! :)

Fooling themselves how? The way I look at it, each option is really a choice of which draft pick you want as long as Sullivan is the coach I feel that won't change. Option 1, 1st round loss, Option 3, barely miss the playoffs, Option 2, top 15 pick.

Frankly, I don't like any of the choices though I'd like 1 & 3 better with a proper coaching staff.

4) none if these. There are serious flaws in all three.
