- Pens blow a 2-0 lead by giving up two in 55 seconds.
- Goal in the last minute of the second.
- Rakell with 2 giving him 6 on the season so 3 more than Malkin and 5 more than Crosby.
- Something, something Fleury.

Re: Game 11 vs Wild: Thoughts from the Morning After
Something needs to give, somewhere. That Werner guy from FSG recently said that they aren't very patient when it comes to their teams. Meaning KD will have to make a move or coaching change sooner than later.
I still don't think the message is clear on what the path of the team is. I mean if we are trying to speed up a re-tool to be competitive with Sid still here, how does acquiring picks in 25, 26, 27 do anything to help that cause?
He's talking out of both sides of his mouth to be honest. A re-tool is acquiring younger, already established players, or players very close. We are not doing that. Seems like we are in our 1st year of a long rebuild, but just not being told that. Which again doesn't make sense since Werner told Sid when he signed , that we were going to be better than last year.... hmm

Did Crosby answer back, “yeah but I won’t be” - when it comes to being better this year? Haha

My best takeaway is that I like Blomqvist. When asked about that short side goal by Lauko, where Lauko found the tiniest opening along his body and the post...Blomqvist literally responded to reporters "Sh-t happens."

Steelers have as many wins as the Penguins for October so far with one more Pens game pending. That’s just sad.

The Pens will win against Anaheim and Montreal. So through this “smoke screen” everything will appear Jim Dandy. Everyone will be happy again, “we’re back in the race”. I can see it now. These wins will only delay the inevitable.

Two weeks ago, I had Montreal and Anaheim as wins for the Penguins. With the way they are playing now...I don't think either game is a guaranteed win.Wyopen wrote: Wed Oct 30, 2024 12:05 pmThe Pens will win against Anaheim and Montreal. Can they score 6 goals against either of them?! Seems to be the only way they can win this year...

I don't know that Sully mixing up the lines is that much of an issue. Our forward lines on the offensive have been a pleasant surprise. Scoring isn't the issue with this team. Doesn't really matter what the forward lines are, if they can't keep the puck out of their net.

During this losing streak - the last 6 games - they are averaging 2.17 goals for and 4.5 goals against. Both would rank last in the league. It’s all bad - except goalie.DeHaven162 wrote: Wed Oct 30, 2024 7:30 pmI don't know that Sully mixing up the lines is that much of an issue.
