Well, that wasn't a terribly convincing period, but they still ended up keeping them under 30 shots and to 1 goal.

They keep up their pattern of beating likely non-playoff teams.

Well isnt this dandy candy?! We won two games Vs bad teams, Sully stays and we keep going to be pretenders.. team that looks like maybe could be a playoff team, but its really not! and yes, I'm still pissed off about Puljujarvi treatment..

Two points is still two points. Even if the other team sucks.

Yeah, by definition half the teams in the league are non-playoff teams, and beating just those teams probably isn't enough to make the playoffs yourself, it is a big part of it. When they play the Canes and Caps this week, we'll see if their somewhat improved attention to defense holds up against playoff caliber teams.

The Isles first. They have about as bad a record as the Pens to date. Every opponent is a difficult challenge that needs to be taken very seriously I feel.

Play Jarry against MTL and it's a 4-2 loss. Play as bad defensively as before and it doesn't matter who is in net, we'd give up 6.
