Why can’t EK65 just admit he’s not playing up to expectations? A “not bad” answer is something I’d expect from a rookie like St Ivany not a seasoned veteran. His stats are abysmal for $11M. It amazes me that so many players come here and fail while others leave and excel.Puck-Lurker wrote: Fri Nov 08, 2024 2:15 pmSomeone needs to sit him down and school him. He needs to be sent to the AHL. Have him get in touch with reality. Who’d have thought that Graves is playing better than EK65.![]()
I was skeptical about the Karlsson trade and was anxious about it. I understood that Dubas wanted to swing for the fences for one last time with this group. We know the window is shut and it was for nothing, but at the time it was a move I didn't hate, but wasn't over the moon about.
Graves is okay right now. Not great, not 4.5M, just okay. He's not sinking us. Everybody else is

DK on his podcast thought EK is just not willing or able to admit to playing badly.Wyopen wrote: Fri Nov 08, 2024 2:45 pmWhy can’t EK65 just admit he’s not playing up to expectations? I think personally, he doesn't see it and has a massive blind spot to it. A lot will happen in three periods and a player has a 1st person perspective of what goes on. He's unlucky, or so he thinks; that's not the case, he's making mistakes and is a problem. Sullivan told press a lot of players were doing all the right things.. but: "I think there were a few guys, that didn't live up to the expectation."
A nothingburger of a line, but coming from Sullivan, he might as well just shone a spotlight on Karlsson.

Never liked the trade for EK, he was always known for below average defense and especially at that price tag, didnt want another even more expensive Letang.. now with his disaster lazy playing its getting even worse.
