I just got home from work to turn on NHL channel for the highlights.

Too early in the week to have a Sully standard X 2. Live coverage of Avs v. Preds. 1:00 minutes left, 2-2 score.

I got home and the score was 2-0. I Handed wifey the remote and was treated to My Lottery Dream Home and Jeopardy. Fun stuff. FTR a lot more fun than watching that trainwreck. I have no idea what she watched after that. I pretty much zoned out of everything game related.

Agreed, I'm definitely in the "there are better things I can be spending my time on" stage of grief.

Agreed. Like I said I tuned in 12 minutes into the first when it was already three nothing and they scored about 5 seconds later, and I turned it off. Watched a whole 20 seconds. I just don't care anymore. I don't even really pay attention to win games already more or if they're on TV, because I just don't give a **** really. This organization is a complete and utter train wreck, it's incomplete denial about reality, they make repeated decisions month after month year after year that have no connection to reality or any defensible attempt or claim to put a quality product out there and I don't know why I should spend my time and my money as a fan supporting it. I look to see if Crosby gets another goal or assist most nights but that's about all I care about at this point.

The endless questions about whether the moron behind the bench will still be there by seasons end etc aren't even really important or relevant to me anymore. I know he'll never leave and I kind of figure, this organization doesn't seem to care about the fans so why should I care. I mean the product on the ice is utterly and completely atrocious. It isn't enjoyable to watch at all. It's not competitive, it's not innovative, it's not young guys doing their best, it's not a lower talent team that's hustling, it's just stale old repetitive trash with the same garbage we've seen for damn near a decade which is comical to say in and of itself. I don't need to watch Superstars dominate every night, but I do need to have something other than repetitive stale trash that no one seems interested in fixing in order for me to have at least a little interest in watching.
