4 Shots on Goal from Philly halfway through this game.
Pens have to continue to cycle in their end.

I don’t blame him. He was tired of all the damn breakaways.

Letang standing still in the Offensive Zone before he realizes he might have to get back on Defense.Zero Awareness.
Blomqvist risking he could get there and bad bounce gets behind him.All these breakaways had him thinking it was the only way to go.

Is it too soon to bring up the Tom Fitzgerald goal?

Nieto and Graves should not be on the ice at the same time.

No big deal. Rookie mistake. That would have Jarry’s 3rd goal by now.
Flyers suck and we’ve outplayed them all game.

When you come out to play a puck and shoot it into two players you are going to create a bad bounce, Blomqvist wasn’t unlucky there.

Agreed. That entire side of the Ice when they are out there is trouble in the worst way.Southern Fan wrote: Sat Feb 08, 2025 8:23 pmNieto and Graves should not be on the ice at the same time.

Yeah, it was a bad decision which he made worse by hesitating. No biggie, a coachable situation and something he’ll get better at.DelPen wrote: Sat Feb 08, 2025 8:24 pmWhen you come out to play a puck and shoot it into two players you are going to create a bad bounce, Blomqvist wasn’t unlucky there.

Classic rookie mistake, I agree he won’t do the same thing again. But also it’s still OK to give him the blame for that.Daniel wrote: Sat Feb 08, 2025 8:28 pmYeah, it was a bad decision which he made worse by hesitating. Anyone know how skilled Blomqvist is viewed at playing the puck in general over his career?

Great chance for Bunting on a nice setup from Karlsson.
