When Graves missed a wide open net last night we were down 2-1, right?

Best deflection for a goal Acciari has in his Penguins career.

That was in before the ref even thought to blow the whistle.

Re: Official GDT: Pens @ Flyers 2/8/25
Pens lost in Defensive Coverage on that shift and the shot goes off Acciari with a Delayed Penalty.
Heinen had the chance to even it up and that comes back to bite the Pens.

Absolutely, he was 100% at fault for that.DelPen wrote: Sat Feb 08, 2025 8:29 pmClassic rookie mistake, I agree he won’t do the same thing again. But also it’s still OK to give him the blame for that.Daniel wrote: Sat Feb 08, 2025 8:28 pmYeah, it was a bad decision which he made worse by hesitating. No biggie, a coachable situation and something he’ll get better at.DelPen wrote: Sat Feb 08, 2025 8:24 pmWhen you come out to play a puck and shoot it into two players you are going to create a bad bounce, Blomqvist wasn’t unlucky there.

Puck way in before the Whistle here.
Referee looking right at the Net can't see a loose Puck?

That puck is in before he raises the whistle and well before the whistle blows

Even the Flyers announcers admit the puck was clearly across before the whistle blew.

Only Brady Tkachuk is allowed to score a goal like that.

Definitely. No reason for him to have missed it initially.DelPen wrote: Sat Feb 08, 2025 9:11 pmGlad they made the ref who botched the call make the announcement.Zalapski33 wrote: Sat Feb 08, 2025 9:11 pmReplay got it right.Hayes with the strong effort to get that Goal.

WBS was down 4-1 at the end of the 1st and 4-2 at the end of the 2nd but got to OT and Pickering won it. Keep him down there to get better and just tank this season and then we have him and Brunicke to look forward to next year.
