My favorite NHL isn't allowed to play since he doesn't come from the 4 Nations playing. Absolutely not watching, and F the NHL.

With no due respect, go **** yourself Canada.
Should be ashamed of themselves.
Disappointed isn't a strong enough word for listening to that.

Jake beat Binnington with a softie there.

That hit by McAvoy on McDavid got that all going for that Play in Transition.

This tournament made me root for them if only just for 2 weeks. I feel kind of dirty.

I feel no disgust rooting for those guys after watching their response to the anthem getting booed again.

NHL deciding to come back to the Olympics has been reinforced with this tournament. I know they only agreed to the next two games but I don’t see them not also doing 2034 in SLC.

Bad turnover by Sid gives US a 2-1 lead.

I don't like hearing our anthem booed anymore than anyone else. Spent half my life in our nation's uniform. Fought for it in 2 places on this globe.

But, I also don't like our nation picking an unnecessary fight with our neighbor and close ally to the north. They don't have shot to do with immigration down south. And they've sent their sons to fight with us in every scrap the US has entered since WWI (with the exception of Panama). They didn't deserve that nonsense anymore than we deserve to hear them boo.

Call balls and strikes out of both eyes and you'll see it more clearly. Or better yet, just talk about hockey on a hockey message board.

There’s a northern border too, might want to look what’s crossing over it. I don’t condone ANY anthem being booed especially in a sports setting. Look at the booing the last month and it’s totally one sided.

I really did not see US with 6 points and everyone else with 2 with just one more day of games left. What a disaster for Canada so far.

Jake finishes it off with the ENG.1st Star of the Game.

Canada wasn't able to get anything established after the 1st Period.Binnington giving up that soft one made a difference.

Canada needing to go to OT to beat Sweden may end up costing them a Rematch with Team USA.They have a ton of pressure on them Monday against Finland.

Looks like Sullivan and his assistants are pushing all the right buttons so far and Cooper and crew sure aren't. Too much reliance on TB guys like Hagel and Cirelli on the Canada side and guys like Marchand, Jarvis and Bennett not utilized much at all. Yeah, no Makar really hurts but they still have plenty of talent to look better than they have the first two games.

I really thought the best player on the ice tonight was Slavin. He lead everybody with 25+mins and his partner Faber was considered suspect going into the tournament but has really elevated his game since they paired him with Slavin. They were all over McDavid, Sid, Mac just snuffing out chances and Slavin showed a pretty physical side to his game I didn't think existed.

Tkachuks don't need a coach to be physical. It's ingrained in their DNA.

Unfortunately, it seems current political mentality has leached into sports (the booing, might-makes-right behavior, etc.). I don’t mind the occasional sparring match but the way this game started should have resulted in numerous game ejections. And while Tkachuk is a very good player, he’s still a thug cut from the Tom Wilson cloth. Canada could have stiffened up and come back to win the game but they didn’t, so ‘well done’ to the Americans.

3 points for win in regulation
0 points for loss in regulation
2 points for win in OT
1 point for loss in OT

Each game is always worth 3 points. Imagine that?!?!

This 100%. There is one orange clown to blame for this mess. Direct your anger accordingly.

Am I wrong in actually liking the Tkachuk brothers? I love the way they play - they are honest, physical and actually very good players. They never ****-foot around. I was not a fan of how Matthew forced his way out of Calgary - really screwed that franchise up. But, he's a true gamer. And I like it.
