Pair minutes.

Gear up my fellow fans. Next season is going to be just as bad or worse.
Bad or worse with Sullivan is no hope. Worse without Sullivan at least has hope.

I almost don't want the kids to be promoted because he'll just ruin them.
That last statement is absolutely correct. Only if MacDonald is promoted would I want the kids to come up. MS will ruin them.

Any chance to pick in the top 2 or 3?
Not really. Penguins have 55 points. SJ is worst at 38 points, Chicago second at 41 points, Nashville is third with 47 points. All teams near the bottom are only winning 3-4 games out of a 10 game set. Nashville also has 3 games in hand. The Penguins dropping enough games for Nashville to fall out of 3rd worst overall just seems very, very unlikely.

Seattle is currently 4th overall, 54 points, .458 points percentage. They are even with the Penguins in games played (and losing 2-0 to STL tonight)
Buffalo is currently 5th overall, 51 points, .464 points percentage. BUF has 4 games in hand on Pittsburgh.
Penguins are 6th overall, 55 points, .466 points percentage.

Points percentage matters more until teams are even in games played. Both Buffalo and Seattle can pass Pittsburgh, putting us into 4th. At 4th or 5th overall, we are getting a pretty good pick.

Assuming LHD Matthew Schaefer goes 1st overall, Hagens, Martone, and Misa are likely to go 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. Frondell, McQueen, Eklund, Desnoyers are the 2nd grouping of top players. After those 8, there is a significant drop off in terms of talent level. Hagens, Misa, Frondell, McQueen and Desnoyers are all Centers, though not sure if all of them can stick as centers in the NHL.

Thankfully this one sided **** show of officiating isn’t the reason this game is lost.

Also, if the Penguins were to finish 5th overall, the estimated cost to trade up to 3rd overall would be 5th overall, plus an early 2nd and an early 3rd rounder.

Is there a limit to embarrassing losses before a coach gets fired? Asking for a friend.

Nope. The baked in excuse this year for Sully is we have crumby goaltending.

I’m to the point where I don’t care anymore which isn’t good.
I think Dubas is the only one who doesn’t realize this team has quit on Sullivan.
To be fair Sullivan quit on the job 4 years ago where he kept playing garbage and never adapted to the way the league is now playing.
His System broke down with nearly 20 Blown 3rd Period Leads the previous 2 Years where they missed the Playoffs by 1 Game Each Year.

He decided that Evan Rodriques Penalty in Game 6 against the Rags in the 2022 Playoffs was the reason they lost that Series.

Wasted 2 Injury Free Productive Years from Crosby and Malkin in 2023 and 2024.

His lack of addressing the flaws in the continued Defensive Decision making from Letang and Karlsson over these last 2 Years as well.

What the absolute **** was POJ doing to get that pick out? Why is he skating into the Flyer for a garunteed turnover?

I mean what are we doing here ?

Trade Karlsson. Trade all pending UFA’s. Fire Sully. Can’t just accept efforts like this.

This team is beyond bad - it's putrid.

They don't look like they know how to play the game. And they don't look like the care to even try.

What's the point of this?

Thank God they think they are still fighting for a playoff spot because if they tried to tank the rest of the season, they'd screw that up too.

POJ doing things out there on this last Goal(and in every game since they returned) are deserving of being Cut immediately.

I’m so sick of hearing the commentators gush about Acciari’s shot blocking ability. The team is that bad that we have to celebrate shot blocking by a 4th line plug.

This might be the easiest Game of the Season the Flyers have had.

Torts must be surprised how little it has taken to be up 6-1.

He’s -4 so far. Game isn’t over yet. Could get worse.

It’s baffling to me that EK is this bad at hockey. He singlehandedly won games for the sharks as a defensman. He absolutely sucks on the Penguins.

They beat the Ducks 6-0 back in January. Pens can try and top that on Thursday.

Buffalo has scored 3 straight goals to go up 3-2 on the Ducks with under 10 minutes left.
Seattle....um, not happening. Down 6-0 to STL tonight.
